Perfect for what I needed and a great price

This ceiling globe light is simple, yet classy. It does not look cheap or exaggerated. The globe is large enough for a walk-in closet. So my dilemma was wheather to have it installed in the closet or in the hallway. But it's too pretty not to be seen. So I opted to have it installed in our homes front hallway. The box included the metal fixture and the LED bulb. The lighting is not too bright or too dim. I would definitely recommend this globe glass ceiling light to my family and friends.

The Better Homes and Gardens semi-flushmount light is just great! it is 7.88 in diameter x 8.9 in. height. we will install it in our kitchen. The fixture is all metal. The shade has frosted glass. The light has a brushed brass finish, and is very elegant looking. It provides ample light and includes 1 60W soft white bulb.

I put this in my bathroom, because it was dimly lighted. This light has made it so much lighter. I really thought I would have to change out the globe, but it really gives out the light for being frosted. I don't like the spring hinge, but I can get use too it.

I chose this semi-flush mount light for my recently redecorated laundry room. The current lighting is standard builders issue and makes it seem outdated. This BH&G is updated in that the metal is gold tone and gives off a nice amount of life. The LED bulb is included and seems fairly easy to install for a DIYer.

Love the look and aesthetic of this light, it's absolutely beautiful and affordable. When I first saw it online, based on the look alone, I wanted to replace all of our flush mount lights with these. However, once we received it, I felt differently. The light itself IS beautiful in person but it was the quality that is our main concern. The glass is SO THIN, it actually feels somewhat like a delicate Christmas ornament. That, coupled with the fact that it has a spring loaded function that holds the globe to the base makes me really concerned about it breaking. The idea of changing the lightbulb is kinda terrifying with the glass being so thin AND spring-loaded. It actually took both of us to put it up. Also, the color of the base of the light is not the warm gold in the picture, it's actually a brighter, cooler gold which didn't bother me at all but I thought was worth noting.
