Better Homes & Garden Ladies Natural Leather Glove

Winter December 14, 2022

A lovely pair of genuine goatskin leather gloves. When working in the garden these long cuffed gloves provide extra protection and I call mine my rose gauntlets because my arms do not get all scratched up. Already so soft these are quite comfortable to wear and I believe before I wear them in the garden and get them dirty I might wear with my winter coat because they are more comfortable than my driving gloves! These are really soft, attractive and useful garden gloves.

Very nice stuffy gloves but tad small?

Sandrar January 5, 2023

These are great quality leather gloves. I'm happy with them but the medium is a little tight for me. I guess since they're leather they'll eventually stretch anyhow. & white for gardening won't last but I guess they won't attract as much heat either. Great product at a great price point

So soft and easy to work in

Debsp23 December 14, 2022

I was so surprised at the quality of these gloves. I also thought that they would be hard to work in, but I was wrong. They were so soft that they fit my hands great. I thought they would not be easy to work in but that was far from the truth. They were very easy to work in. I'm so used to the cloth gloves, which always didn't work and my hands were always dirty after digging in the dirt. These allowed me the flexibility to dig in the soil and saved my manicure.

Great!

LaurenH December 18, 2022

These genuine goatskin leather gloves are great! Not only are they comfortable but they fit well. We were affected by hurricane Ian and with all the damage, and debris, these gloves come in handy. The extended cuff adds extra protection from cuts and scrapes. They are also easy to put on and take off.

Excited to use these!

Gricknan December 14, 2022

These gardening gloves fit well - I chose the medium size and might have been able to size down - and are made of soft and pliable leather. The width and finger length are proportionate, unlike many ladies gloves that fir in the hand but have long fingers. The suede leather cuff is long to protect the arms. The gloves are very well made and I expect them to last many seasons. So much safer than cotton gloves that are pierced by thorns and the leather breathes like neoprene can't to keep hands from getting hot and sweaty. These are extremely comfortable gloves and I'm anxious for spring so that I can put them to work.

Gorgeous Leather Garden Gloves

Debs December 14, 2022

Better Homes and Gardens Ladies Natural Leather Gloves are beautiful! The workmanship and quality of these gloves are superb! I ordered medium, usually I wear a size 7 glove, and they fit perfectly. The leather is a perfect weight for flexibility but thick enough to protect you from pesky rose thorns. The cuff of the glove is long and offers substantial protection while working in the garden. I highly recommend Better Homes and Gardens Ladies Natural Leather Gloves. You'll love these gloves as much as I do.

Flexible & Protective - Great Gloves

MelissaSueS December 14, 2022

I'm an avid gardener and former garden center owner so I'm tough on gardening gloves and am always on the lookout for good leather ones. These Better Homes & Gardens Ladies Natural Leather gloves offer good protection from thorns, sharp branches/edges and some weather protection. It was already cold here when I received them but I still had a bit of yard clean up so I was able to test how well they worked. The Good: • Because they are made from a soft goatskin, they are more flexible than typical leather gardening gloves made from other types of hides. • Goatskin tends to be one of the tougher leathers and these did provide really good protection when working with old fashion roses with very large thorns and smaller thorns from barberry and raspberries. • The cuff is a bit longer so they provide extra protection which is nice when dealing with shrubs or thorny bushes and vines. From the longer middle finger to the end of the glove they are 11 ¼”. So, the extended cuff fell about 3” beyond where my hand/wrist meet. Flat they measure 4” wide. The extended cuff is not the soft smooth leather like the rest of the glove but feels similar to suede. • I got size medium which is my usual size and they fit fine. A little snug in the fingers but nothing that makes them uncomfortable or unusable. • They are 100% leather and made from goatskin. • Goatskin naturally has lanolin and it is noted on the tag that it has lanolin to help keep hands soft. I just know they feel comfortable to wear. • Typically, goatskin is water resistant. There is no claim of water resistance on the tag but I did get them wet due to snow and light drizzle in our area and my hands stayed dry. Maybe they don't make this claim because moisture could get in around the stitching, I don't know. I just know my hands and fingers stayed dry. I typically include a considerations section in my reviews but I have none for these gloves as nothing concerned me. These gloves impressed me which is tough to do and I would definitely recommend them. I'm looking forward to getting a lot of use out of them during the growing season.

BGH Gardening Gloves

ReaderWoman December 21, 2022

These are really nice gardening gloves. Made out of goatskin these gloves are made of it says durable durable flexible leather. They are very soft for gardening gloves. The cuff area is longer so it protects more of the wrist area. I would almost wear these out. Size small was a bit small though

Sizing is off

Icemama December 14, 2022

I'm a small woman, and have never owned a pair of gardening gloves larger than medium. I can barely get these mediums on. Not only that, but the right glove is much tighter than the left. I cannot get my fingers all the way into the right one. I'm planning to soak them, them wear and work with them until they dry, hoping this will make them more usable. I shouldn't have to, and both should fit the same.
