Better Homes & Gardens Greyson Bookcase, Acorn Finish

A lovely mid century modern bookcase with ample storage for taller books and photo albums the construction is solid and high end in appearance and function. The height and depth generous and the doors slide smoothly for easy access to storage for games. I really like the color of finish. Very warm and works well with my decor.

This bookcase is beautiful! I love the acorn finish and the midcentury modern design. It's classic and feels sturdy. I'd love to display this in a bedroom or my living room to show off books or pictures but also have some hidden storage below. Excellent piece of furniture at an affordable price.

This would be great in an office or dorm room. Lots of storage and the shelves are adjustable. Seems to be a little lower quality than some of Better Homes and Garden piece I have seen, but for the price this would be a great choice for additional books and storage.

This bookcase is sturdy and would fit with a variety of design styles. I like that two of the shelves are adjustable and the sliding doors that allow for some hidden storage options. The shelves are deep and can be used for a variety of things- not just books.

The item is not as described. It is stated to be rubber wood, only the feet are solid wood. The rest are a veneer/wood composite. Not the most sturdy piece of furniture, but it does come with wall anchors. Had I known it was flimsy, I would have chosen a different piece to purchase. It also had noticeable dents/scratches from delivery or packaging from manufacture. It does come with a color match marker, so that did help hide some of the imperfections.

This bookcase has a lot of room. I like that the base has a sliding storage for hidden materials. The material is wood, but it doesnt feel high end though

The color of the wood is beautiful. The shelves have a depth that would provide more room for more books to display. The sliding doors on the bottom seem a little janky. Not super sturdy.

This item should not have been passed by quality control. Basically ever piece came damaged, scratched, or with an incorrectly applied veneer. Those photos are only a few small examples of the damage which was present on every single piece in multiple places. This seems to be a production issue because many other reviews mention this. The shelf is extremely heavy and difficult to return, so I would not suggest risking it considering the poor quality. I now had to go to the trouble of moving it into my apartment, unpacking it only to find the damage, attempting to put the heavy pieces back into the box, scheduling a pick up, and now I have to coordinate with fedex to actually come get the item. It has been a huge hassle for an item which never should have been approved to be shipped by Walmart in the first place.
