OMG Sooooo soft! I couldn't be more pleased. It's warm, beautiful and bunny soft. I got the terra cotta clay. It wasn't quite as dark as I expected but still very pretty. Overall, it's high quantity and I recommend stronly for anyone looking for a Fall/Winter blanket for snuggling by the fire.
I love the plush, rather silky feel. It's the perfect size for curling up on the sofa or a recliner without being oversized. I can wrap my entire body in it without a lot of extra pieces or sections draped all over. Unless you're particularly sensitive to heat, the blanket is perfect for an evening curled up with a book or TV when the A/C is a little chilly. The same should be true on early autumn nights. Haven't washed it yet, so I can't comment on durability. But comfort and snuggliness? Most definitely!
Bought one last year and loved it. Last years shed alot but i think it was from the carving. This years isnt shedding. Maybe carvings isnt as deep. Or they figured out how to get rid of the shedding pieces. I wish they had different colors though. i bought the brown this year. My cats fur doesn't stick to it but if it does the brown won't show it. It's so soft that I rolled it up and cuddled it when sleeping since it was too hot to use as a cover. I do use it when ac is on so for me its a year round throw. Might buy the third just to cuddle. Make some new colors. It was priced higher then last year but worth it.
I love this throw blanket. It works fine for summer and I will enjoy layering over other bedding for the winter. Plus, it is a beautiful throw. It's a bit of a lighter shade of terracotta than I'd prefer, but no matter. I like it. 2 Thumbs Up!
So soft. Lovely “earthy color”- goes great with my burnt orange window sheers from Walmart. Protects my lap from my cats and they really enjoy the softness. Very nice and cuddly. Haven't washed it yet.
Although a lovely and quality blanket from Better Homes and Gardens, the color was not to my liking. In the website photos it looked like a burnt orange color, but the actual terra cotta color is much more muted than I expected. I wanted a brighter autumnal color, and the terra cotta color just didn't suit the autumn decorating I had in mind. I returned it.
I owned this blanket before and it was perfect. This time, it is soft and cozy, the color is fabulous and although it washes well…there is fuzz to no end. I have washed it three times and it is still shedding. Guess its manufactured in a different country😞
This blanket is very soft. However, by the 2nd wash it began to pill and shed big lumps of material. Not only that you feel pokey little pieces of plastic (?) all over where it shed it’s material. I washed again thinking it would wash the fuzz off and be normal again. Definitely not. I’ll be returning.
I've washed and dried these blankets 6 times and the formaldehyde odor is still there. both my husband and I react to it. Breathing issues and rashes. It would be nice is BH%26G could make all of their oeko-tex certified products formaldehyde free, and not just baby items.
Horrible!! It was as if the fabric was rotten. Laundered per directions three times. The shedding is till out of control!! Huge chunks just fly off. This blanket is unusable!! Worst thing- we had it monogrammed and gave it as gifts before laundering our own-
