Better Homes & Gardens Juliet Oval Writing Desk, Walnut Finish

I got on sale for $100 off during Walmarts deal days, and for $80 it is an amazing desk for our living rooom! It wasn't too hard to assemble and came with extra parts. Arrived extremely quickly. Also comes with furniture sharpie to fix inevitable marks! Love this desk and the drawer! Sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. Would purchase again!

I love this desk. The entire Better Homes %26 Gardens line is incredible! The desk was actually fun and easy to assemble. I just moved and sold my old desk because it was clunky and heavy to move. Much more satisfied with this one…plus it was 1/3 of the price of my old desk.

For the price, this is a steal. Great quality. I would recommend having someone to help assemble. Although I did it alone, the weight of the big pieces heavy (which I appreciate for the sturdiness). It's also true to color. The drawer is also soft close which is a nice feature. Great desk or vanity!

Some scratches, it comes with a brown marker to fill in the scratches. Seems to work and blend in pretty well. Some design errors but once I but the screws the parts seemed to come together securely. Heavy wood legs and nice wood color. Overall pleased with the product.

I ordered the black desk when it was on sale for $80 and wow, what a steal! It's a beautiful statement piece with the rounded edges. The assembly instructions were thorough and I put it together in maybe 45 minutes. Thankfully, my item did not arrive damaged. I imagine that would've been extremely frustrating considering it's not at all lightweight. If you can catch it on sale, buy this desk!

Ok Walmart! This piece is gorgeous, love the matte dark walnut finish. It looks way more expensive than it is and works great in a small space. The drawer is super useful for storage. I assembled it on my own (not an expert), and while it wasn't the easiest and a couple pieces didn't align perfectly, I got it together and it feels solid. My only disappointment: after just a few weeks using it as a desk, the finish started rubbing off from my laptop mouse. I wish the top held up better, now I use a desk mat to prevent more damage. Still happy with the overall look and function for the price.

I ordered the black colored . It would have been a very beautiful desk , I loved the style. It was very heavy . The finish on the desk was so scratched and marked up it took away from the look of the desk . It was so damaged . I would not recommend getting the black desk for how damaged and scratched it came . So disappointed.

The product arrived damaged. I called and no resolution was offered completely discrediting the time and effort I put into assembly to be left with a defective product. To make matters worse I was promised a price match upon delivery that wasn't honored and the Walmart representative tried to blame me for it even though that's the information I was given by their experts on the phone. Awful experience.

So bad.. be careful buying this desk! Absolutely rubbish. I bought it on sale and so I couldn't even return it. The legs are partially assembled when it came, they were so damaged cause the chipboard is so cheap, i spent an hour glueing it together and waiting for it to dry overnight. Then I went to assemble the top and the board was so cheap, the screw holes were not aligned, there were so many chips all over. I literally gave up and just threw it out.

It came in a damaged box. Pieces were sticking out and you could already see that pieces were chipped. Once I looked at the top piece, it was cracked in the middle. All they are going to do is pick up the item and I have to wait close to two weeks for a refund. This is not the first time I've ordered furniture from Walmart that is defective. All of it the same brand of Better Homes and Garden as well.
