Better Homes & Gardens Kelsey Twin Metal Loft Bed, Black

This loft bed was really easy to put together- my 9 year old daughter helped me! We have low ceilings and the height is perfect. It's not tall enough to put a desk underneath, but my daughter has designed the space as a hang out area with pillows, bean bag chairs, blankets, and a chalkboard wall behind. I like that the ladder sticks out a little, making it easier to climb, but it's attached to the bottom of the loft for extra security. It's a surprisingly stable loft bed and doesn't seem squeaky like some metal beds. This bed is definitely a great buy!

This bed is great! all the parts were labelled and it was super easy to put together by myself. my sons going to love it! i dont recommend any one heavier than probably, 150lbs sleeping on it, though. the bars that the mattress lay on arent the most solid.

I love the bed! It's exactly what we wanted and easy to assemble. The only problem was a couple of the holes did not line up and we couldn't screws the bolts in correctly.

The side rails are high enough that I don't need to worry about my 7 year old falling off. She feels safe and she loves it. Plus, I love the room it leaves underneath for a nice play space.

The only thing we have an issue with is how uncomfortable the ladder is. My daughter hates it. I would love to figure out some ideas to make it easier on her feet. But overall she loves her bed. She has a tiny room so this helped her have more space. She was the boss in setting this bed up so she got to learn how to read plans to help dad build this.

My granddaughter, who has a form of dwarfism, has a teeny, tiny room.....no room for anything other than a toddler bed. She is now 12 and wanted an update to her room so a friend recommended a loft bed. I found this bed on Walmart's website....ordered it in white, it has worked perfectly!! It seems to be sturdier than a review mentioned and is the answer to our lack of room delimna. My granddaughter loves it! She is 42" tall, the room between floor and bottom of bed is 48" so she can easily walk under bed, has her chest and faux fur chair there also. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and recommend to anyone needing space. I would give 5 stars but have only had it put together for a couple weeks.

It took my husband almost 2 hours to put together. Although we kept being interrupted by our two boys. We only had one issue with a 2 screws and their wholes stripping where it wasn't as secure as we'd wish - but still secure enough to hold our weight. This is for our five year old son - he is thrilled to have it. He is a big boy and can fit/walk under neath it. We love that it is lower so when 1.5 year old brother climbs us it's not as far from the ground as standard loft beds. We also have low ceilings so this allows for less head bumps. over all happy with it, so far!

Small problems: 1.The bed wobbles a little when the child climbs up on it, but probably other beds do too. 2. It has a small (quarter sized) area where the white paint is missing (I think it was bumped on something and damaged before it was shipped). Pros: 1. The child really loves her loft bed. 2. She is less than 4 feet tall, so she can walk under it. 3. It makes her room look way cuter.

Was missing bolts, the bed itself is very shaken and bolts come out. Holes where not cut correct and don't line up to bolts in all the legs

Super wobbly and will need to somehow be secured to the wall and the tie given isn't enough. Even though a headache, I'm returning it.
