I really love this trash can! I already have one these for about 9-10 yrs by Home %26 Gardens trash can. It's still working even with lid open/shut and step on it. It even stays up when you have to change the trash bag. This is a gift for someone. It's a 14.5 gallon, bigger than my own (13 gallon)! Hmm, I might have to upgrade my own!

It cant fit flush against the wall without making marks on the wall. It must stick out about 3-4" from the wall, unless you dont care about your walls.

this is a well made trash can....I ordered two and am so pleased......I like the feature of the lid staying open while you put a new trash bag in....very handy

Love this trash can it holds 13 gallon bags. It is spacious and convenient. The gray with the stainless steel goes well with my stainless steel appliances.

In our house, we regularly drink my sparkling water and husband's coke zero creating lots of cans. This 14.5 gallon really has good size for at least of 3 dozens of cans and bottles for once a week recycling day. Good size and material without easily staining from the leaks.

Works as it should. I like that the entire lid swings up to easily replace bags and holds the bag in place when shut. Nice large size perfect for standard size kitchen bags. Sometimes you get trash bins that are too small for the bag but you can really fill them up in this one.

Got this to replace an old hand-flip top and im in love with it! It's got a beautiful silver metal & black plastic lid that has a slow-close feature so it doesn't *slap* back shut loudly. The stainless steel rim holds & hides the garbage bag securely in place very well. It has a 'stay-open' option as well. Over all its an excellent trash can.

This is a really great trash can. The standard 13 gallon bags fit nicely into this can and they are held securely by the lid. It's nice to have the larger capacity can so that we can actually fill the 13 gallon bags thus reducing the amount of bags that we go through. I was able to fit your standard size pizza box, smashed, into this can and still had plenty of room for the rest of the garbage from the meal and other greasy take-out containers. It easily wipes clean with a warm soapy cloth and looks very sleek and sophisticated in my kitchen! I love the slow close lid and the fact that it's a step-on release, much more sanitary and convenient during meal prep and subsequent clean up.

The can looks nice and the step-on/open feature is handy. My can sits against a wall. When you step on the pedal to open the lid, the clearance required forces the can to move away from the wall. I am constantly pushing this can back into place throughout the day. When you line the can with a new bag, the bag stays secure ... for awhile. 3/4 full and the bag pulls in on itself. I've tried Hefty, Great Value, and Glad brand 13 gallon liners, and they all do the same thing, so the problem is the can design. I would not buy this product again

I like that this trash can is a bit bigger than others. However, I cannot find 14.5 or 15 gallon trash bags, anywhere. I had to buy 20 gallon bags. Also, the little doohickey on the back that's supposed to secure the bag.....useless. Maybe if I could find the right size bags it would work better. So, while I like this size of this trash can, it's frustrating that the bags are either to small, or to big for it.
