the bunk was as pictured. It was easy to assemble by myself as a petite mom of 4. My kids love it and it's Pretty sturdy.
Wow! Exceeded all expectations!! The storage underneath amazing! To all moms this is one the one don't look no further easy to build took me a little longer than 4 hours but I built it alone
Solid bed. Only issue is the top bunk slats are not very wide and will need a flat board for supporting and same for bottom. Over all good quality for price.
I was surprised with the quality of wood for that amount of money I paid. But I would cover it with one more layer of paint, because in some areas the paint got darker due to wood absorbed the paint. It took us 3 hours to put it together, but just because we had to drill extra holes - we needed to switch the side of the ladder. I recommend this bunk bed to everyone who doesn't want to pay a fortune for such item, but wants a real good quality of it
it took a while to build with 1 person. its nice, but the paint scratches pretty easily.
Shipping was fast, however there were many knicks and scratches that were painted over. At least 6 imperfections. I am not quite sure how safe the 4 wooden pegs that holds up the top bunk are…..
looks great in the picture. until you start to assemble the beds the particleboard is fragile and starts to split when piecing together with screw driver. Also hole on the larger piece of headboard/footboard labeled t didnt have the hole drilled far enough in to hold its largest dowel. so when I placed the twin bed on top of the full size bed didnt fit properly on and left about an 1/2 inch space where the leg should have met flesh with the bottom headboard/footboard. one last thing Dhp customer was no help in replacing the defective parts.
The bed came with two broke pieces, on the full size the boards don't go across the bottom evenly and every time my kid get on it the boards fall, and on the twin size one of the sides was curved so I couldn't screw the piece in right so it's not even set up.
package had arrived without assembly. instructions included nobody at the store nor Warehouse distribution center or whatever you want to call it. nobody had access to the information I needed. nobody was willing to help me get the item returned without me having to come out of pocket. I had to reach out to Amazon for assistance and find the instructions for putting this particular item together. fortunately, Walmart is not unique, neither any of the manufacturers that sell anything there. so thank you Amazon for saving the day when Walmart was so disappointing. go figure
bed lasted 6 months and broke from how cheap its made. the piece that broke was the side railing and it cant be fixed. waste of money.
