Better Homes & Gardens Marlow Papasan Outdoor Rocking Chair, Cream

I've always wanted a chair like this and was walking around the patio furniture area in Walmart and sat on this beauty for like 15 minutes and decided to order it and i'm so happy I did it's large enough to curl up in the cushion is comfy and I love that it rocks. My son and I put it together in about 35-40 minutes and most of that time was taking the protective wrapping off of all the pieces. This chair is great.

Amazing quality, easy to put together, comes with all the tools you need, so nice looking, and sooo comfortable. Buying another because we love it so much and my kids are stealing it!

Arrived quickly, my son assembled it for me. I had rotator cuff surgery recently, and I find I it's cozy and keeps my shoulder in a comfortable position. It's a favorite for everyone!

I was incredibly excited to get this, but things did NOT go well. maybe having two people onstead of 1 would have made things a bit easier, but the assembly of the base 3 pieces was an absolute nightmare. I can't tell you how many times I took it apart and redid it, thinking maybe i got the top/bottom mixed up, and no matter what I did, things still not not completely line up and left gaps. (included a few pics) I did ensure to read the instructioms before beginning and regularly refer to them throughout assembly. I also made sure to not tighten the bolts until all was assembled, which was noted in the directions as being an essential thing to do. After spending multiple hours working on the 3 base pieces, and making minimal progress/improvement, I decided to just finish and be done with it, as I was incredibly frustrated and at a loss. the rest was straightforward and no/minimal issues. I don't know if I received a defective product or what, but if this is the typical experience with this item, I would not purchase again, and would instead go with another brand/company. I would return it, but don't know that I want to bother with trying to disassemble and repackage it as that also sounds like a nightmare. This isn't the first home furnishing from this brand that I've bought and did not go together easily - I previously bought a cube organizer that would absolutely NOT go together without maybe altering the materials by drilling other holes (and I went back and read the reviews after that many deacribed the same problems). the booklet specifically states outdoor use only - I don't know why that would be, but prefer for indoor use given I live in PA and more of the year would not allow outdoor use than the time each year that actually would allow use. something that may not be an issue for many people that is for me, if the texture of the cushion material. I have some sensory issues and I hate touching it with my hands, but it's also dry and itching feeling anywhere that my skin makes contact. would be nice if: there were more than the one color option (a grayish denim looking color), though it is a decent neutral color that would go well with a variety of different color themes, it also swiveled, it came with some pillow of some sort, the cushion was thicker so you don't feel the metal rods underneath as much (this may not be as much of a problem for much smaller/lighter people), etc, but that doesn't weigh on my rating. two positives that stuck out: 1. prompt delivery (I believe it came thr next day after buying) - this may have been because it was in stock at my local store approximately 3 miles from me. 2. packaging was surprisingly well thought out and protected. I forgot to take a picture before taking it all out and starting to put it all together. wish more items would be so carefully protected when being packed to be delivered, as I've received so many damaged packages when they are heavier/larger items.

After assembling the chair, I tied the large cushion to the chair and felt 2 pops. The stitching for the tie straps is one stitch. It will pull out of the cushion immediately. Now I have to fix what I just bought as a new product and spent 30 minutes assembling.

For the price, it's very cheaply made and wouldn't recommend it to be out in any weather has it won't last past a year due to cheap materials and paint.

The product is absolutely flimsy the structure of the chair itself. I have no problem. The cushion is flat and hurts my bottom when I sit on it because I could feel the wiring straight through it and all four of the ties on the cushion broke off as soon as I sat on it so now I have no ties on the cushion to hold the cushion on.

I think this chair could be cute however I received 2 top frames instead of a top and bottom frame. Since I didn't receive the correct piece, there's no way to attach the legs. I reached out to customer service and they told me they would send me out a bottom frame. The piece was sent out quickly, however, they sent me another top frame. Now I have 2 extra top frames that I will have to figure out what to do with and a half assembled chair because I'm still missing the bottom frame. I reached out to the same agent I had been working with and was told she would escalate the matter, but it's been a week later and I haven't received another response. This all ia super disappointing and I don't know if the chair is worth the hassle.

Had this item for last then a month it's been on our covered back porch and hasn't gotten wet and it has mildew/mold spots. If you are buying this for inside your house I would recommend but not if you want it for the porch. Especially if you live somewhere with high humidity and where it rains a lot.

The chair is not made well. It bent while being sat in. It feels like it was made of cheap metal or needed extra supports. Weight limit say 300 should be able to hold 250.
