Better Homes & Gardens Metal Adjustable Curtain Rod Brackets in Pewter Gray, 3/4 to 1 Inch Diameter

I suppose if I had looked long enough, I might have been able to find an expandable bracket that would accommodate a 1" rod....but not at the local places like Home Depot and Menards! My son had the same issue, and we both ended up at Walmart. I ordered online, but I did see the product a few cents cheaper in the store during another trip. All of the other brackets I could find were too small (for 5/8"--3/4" rod diameter) or did not give us enough expansion from the wall to go in front of the bulkiness of an additional blind with an 'outside' mount...and we wanted a valence in a baby's room!

I was looking online for extended brackets in various online store and found it at Walmart. I have verticals which I hoped to keep and did for privacy and used the brackets and worked out well. Well made and can extend them to the desired length needed. Better Homes & Gardens has great products, Thanks !

They worked perfectly. Prefer the more OPEN style - was replacing the more closed style that came with rod set. The more open allows for easier adjustment of the rod. Did just what I wanted it to do, so pleased.

Just what I was looking for affordable yet good looking brackets for my 19ft rods!

Just a quick note for those who have purchased, or contemplating a purchase of Better Homes and Gardens curtains and/or rods, if you have situation where you need more clearance from the wall, these brackets do a nice job in that regard. I had three windows and door I wanted to hide and chose this manufacturer's grommet type curtains for the job. Problem was the blinds on the windows were inside the window sills, but the door had it's blinds mounted over the door's full length window. These brackets, although not extremely reasonable $-wise, are well made, well finished, and give you the extra couple inches to clear such obstacles to keep the curtain hanging correctly. They actually mount to the wall better and easier that the standard brackets that come with the rods.

HAD TO USE LONGER SCREWS AS THE SCREWS WE USED MADE THE POLE FALL OUT OF THE WALL
