Better Homes & Gardens Metal and Glass Soap Pump, Clear with Silver Accent

I found the coordinating cotton ball/Q-tip jar first, which I also like greatly, and then purchased 2 of these soap dispensers, which all match our bathroom fixtures, and replaced my husband's and my non-matching (to each other's and our fixtures) dispensers. I can't believe it took me so long to get coordinated. These are fairly sizable and very sturdy looking. They look like a million bucks. No one would think "Walmart" (no offense, Walmart).

So it's truly a great item, looks high end, bought the whole set, but a week into using it, it started collecting water inside, from when our hands are wet and we pump the soap, so the soap inside became watery. I asked for a refund, Walmart said yes and I'm going to order another one, maybe this one was faulty? Anyways I hope the replacement works out because it's a beautiful set!

This is a stylish soap dispenser for those who like the modern look! I like that you can see the contents so that you easily can tell when a refill is in order and not be caught without. What I don't really like is the narrow tube on the pump. These seem to have a tendency to draw up product on the outside around the tube and I am constantly cleaning it.

I purchased this 10 months ago and the top part that screws onto the glass base has broken. Not sure how, I am the only one who uses and fills this dispenser and I have not overtightened or anything out of the norm. Perhaps the plastic has become brittle and cracked in less than 10 months. The top square that you press to dispense soap is discolored and spotty, the finish is quickly wearing off. I also have the Q-tip/cotton ball and toothbrush holders from the same set. Both of those pieces are as good as day 1. I repurchased the soap dispenser because the shape and design matches my bathroom perfectly. However, I am not pleased with the durability and longevity of the soap dispenser. The glass is thick, holds plenty of liquid soap, and the whole item is gorgeous, in my opinion, when new. Looks like I might be replacing the dispenser every 9-12 months if I continue to love the design.

I only received the jar part of the dispenser. The pump was not in the box. How is that usable? what kind of employee does that? The soap dispenser is a Better Homes and Gardens product. I have waited for my order several days after the promised delivery.

It arrived, but it was broken
