Better Homes & Gardens Oversized LED Vintage Light Bulb, Irregular 50W Soft White Porcelain, E26 Dimmable

I thought this bulb would work well to replace a broken globe on my floor lamp. Fortunately I was right! Since it is frosted, I didn't need a globe or cover of any kind to protect the vision of anyone who is admiring it. Though it is oversized, the base is a standard size, so it should fit into any standard socket. In my picture, you see I'm using it along with four plastic globes and it fits in quite well. The picture on the box made it look browner than it is. I like it a lot, though. I'll definitely replace the other globes in my lamp with these bulbs when they become brittle and break as well.

This light bulb is so cute. It is a 50w light bulb that only uses 5w. it is dimmable with a porcelain finish and very much on-trend right now. The light is bright enough to be able to read under but not so bright that you don't want it on during other times. With it being dimmable you can really make it what you want with a simple dimming switch.

This bulb is the perfect size and wattage for a hanging light fixture. I use it in an area that does not need a high wattage bulb and I can leave it on at night in the hallway for a low-light night light. It is perfect for when you need to get up at night but don't want to have to turn on a regular light and it can be left on all night.

This 50 watt vintage bulb is really cool and completely changes the aesthetic of my hall light fixture. The light provided is very soft, while still illuminating sufficiently. It's also dimmable, which is a decided benefit. It has a porcelain finish and lasts up to 13 years. Best of all, it costs only pennies per year in energy use. The bulb came packaged in a nice box and shipping was very quick. It arrived in perfect condition due to being packed well.

These would be perfect to match any decor in your home. They would go with anything. The soft white frosted bulb makes for a pretty glow from the light. It would be nice for your bed side table to put into a shade. Nice size too. Just what I was looking for.

I wanted the Better Homes and Gardens Pendant Style light bulb because I thought it would make a great replacement for a couple lights in my home where there used to be covers years ago, but aren't anymore. I'm not sure what happened to the covers, I live in a very old home I grew up in and inherited from my father, so things break, or go missing over time. Having a ceiling fan with a simple light bulb in it with no cover over it just looks ridiculous. This type of bulb addresses that issue, I will add a pic where I installed this bulb in it. It's not quite as good as the original, but it's far better than an ordinary light bulb just sticking out. I also have a light fixture in my hallway that should have a cover, but no longer does, and I also tried it there, which is where I ended up leaving it. I will also add that pic to my review. In this case, this bulb is all about the design for me. Otherwise, this is your standard 5 watt, 50 watt replacement LED bulb. If you haven't gotten into LED bulbs, there's very few reasons not to do so now. I replaced all my CFL bulbs probably 10 years ago with LEDs and even with the minimal difference between CFLs vs LEDs, vs, incandescent vs LED, I could see a measurable difference on my power bill. You'd be surprised at how much lights can cost you. My power bills are never astronomical, so it may be easier for me to determine when there's a change compared with people with high bills on average. But for me it was about $10, maybe as high as $15 a month in savings. There are several lights I always leave on for safety reasons, 24 hours a day. Typically, I do prefer a 60 watt equivalent bulb, but in this case I can't really tell the difference, it's pretty minor. So, if you have a use case where the design of this bulb fits, it's really cool that you can get them now. I'm really happy with it, 5 stars.

Well, I had to purchase a light stand to be able to use this very large, odd shaped light bulb before I could review. It puts off a nice, soft light, not too bright. It's great that it is dimmable but based on the color of the shade you use, you may not need to dim it. I am using a tan colored shade which mutes the light even more, making it much softer in brightness. It's easy to install, fits in any standard light socket; I use this at night when I don't want a lot of light in my living room and it puts off just the right amount of light for my personal use!

This bulb is huge. It fits in a lot of places for my house. The shape is interesting. It is soft white but has a yellow dim to it. It makes a good pendant light. But if you want very bright, I recommend using a few together. I like the LED and softness of the color. It created a relaxing mood. Best part is the energy saving benefits.

I received this Better Homes & Gardens Oversized LED Pendant Vintage Style Light Bulb, Irregular 50 Watts Soft White Porcelain, Medium Base, Dimmable and my niece decided she wanted it for her desk to study. It's a great light and put off a nice hue. While she has isn't using it in the “conventional” manner, she loves the way it looks as her desk lamp! I don't think it looks bad either! It's not too bright but it's perfect to read/study by. I would definitely get this bulb again!!
