great value good quality for the price

These were just the right size and depth to place the under an upholstered need bench for desperately needed storage for my mom. She's 84, so she can sit and access items needed for dressing easily.

The basket holds 3 bathtowels, or a large cat :-). The woven basket is attractive with a dark brown color and not flimsy at all. The weave is smooth and even and tight, no snags when running your hand along the top edge or the inside, which is why I got yarn in it for now. Almost all of the cheaper baskets snag yarn somewhat horribly. This basket feels like it has a coating on it to make it smoother and, of course, is woven snagfree. It also fits in many tight spaces since it is not very tall, just perfect for a variety of uses, from bathroom to kitchen to livingroom. I left the tag on it so I can remember what it is when I buy several more (for yarn).

Big enough to fit school papers and mail so I don't have a pile on the kitchen counter. Looks nice and is sturdy and sits nicely.

Perfect for Dog Toys.

I have recently become a HUGE fan of poly rattan. From a distance, and really even when you get close, it looks like a regular, woven basket, but when you touch it, it's smooth and so much more durable. And, if you have pets, or lots of house fuzz, it doesn't stick to the basket and it's super easy to clean/wipe down if it does get dirty. The color isn't as brown to me as it is more in the dark taupe family. My house walls are a greige (beige/gray) and this blends very well. If you are looking for a true, rich brown, you may be disappointed. This basket is a good size and feels very sturdy. I am really happy with it!

I was so amazed when I received this basket. First off, I just knew it was going to be a thin wicker that probably wouldn't last because so many things are disappointingly made these days. This basket is the bomb. It is thick stranded wicker, sturdy, and very well made. It was a lot bigger than I expected too. I got it to place little hand size washcloths in but it was too big for that. So I haven't decided what to use it for yet. So many options… lol
