My favorite thing about this rod is that it is made of rustproof aluminum and has a no rust lifetime guarantee! That is awesome for a shower rod because that is exactly why mine needed replaced as it had started to rust in places and it was not very old at all. This shower curtain rod adjusts for showers from 43 inches up to 72 inches so it should work well in any bathroom. And it is very easy to install, you just unlock and extend it until it is the width of your space then twist until the rod is nice and tight by twisting the inner tube away from you. Better Homes and Gardens makes lots of nice quality home items that are a great value price and this shower curtain rod is no exception. I am very pleased with it for the great value, easy install, elegant decorative look, and especially the rust proof aluminum with a lifetime guarantee. I have nothing bad to say about this lovely curtain rod.

The gold has a soft satin sheen, it's not brassy and inexpensive looking. The quality is good, it's very heavy duty. There's no drilling required for installation; just twist the rod until it's the length you need to fit between the walls. It has large round end caps that look very high end. Would also be great to use to put up a curtain in dorm rooms without closet doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an old home that has a wardrobe rather than a closet. Long before I moved here, the accordian doors were removed. Since this was handmade, finding a replacement door has been impossible. So I decided to add curtains instead. This soft gold tension rod is perfect for my needs. It is very, very expandable and the rubber stoppers on either end hold the rod firmly in place. While the rod itself and the casings for the end pieces are metal, the connector for the two rods is plastic, as is the bolt that holds the rubber stoppers. I would recommend caution when installing so that you don't split the plastic.

The ends are a brighter brass/gold than the rod which is more muted. No hardware needed--just twist to desired tension. No rusting. Adjusts 43in to 72in.

Coulb be more stronger

I followed the instructions to the tee and it quit moving and now I can't get it to reduce in size so the I can readjust it. So now I have a broken shower curtain rod that I can't use or try to use so that I am to give a proper review
