Better Homes & Gardens Scalloped Wooden Jewelry Box with Lid, Natural Wood Finish

The wooden box I saw it in store and I liked it a lot. When I came home I thought about it even more. So I went to Walmart on my app and ordered it. It was delivered the same day. Not bad huh. Not bad at all.

This is a beautiful box, saw it on line and had to find where to buy it! I have it on my dresser, it is well made and just a pretty piece. Could be used for many things (mine is empty), but you could put your remote controls in it, or jewelry, even medications.

It is beautiful but I do recommend that you go in to the store and not online so you can look for defects. Mine has a couple defects and luckily on the backside. I have placed this on my bedside table to hold remotes and other junk. Clutter on bedside table attracts the curiosity of my orange cat; he likes to steal and hide things from me. All is neat, clean and stored away from ol' sticky paws:)

Called a jewelry but can also just a decorative storage box. It's lightweight, would be a great gift to others or yourself. It is great overall, the handle felt a little bulky but that's just my preference. If used for jewelry there's no place for jewelry to keep from getting tangled.

This wooden box is a super buy for the money. Perfect for jewelry, little pieces that are special. My husband did add a piece of felt inside for protection. I liked the fact that it did not have dividers in it so there are no restrictions on what you want inside.

This wooden box has a great design. It is hefty and spacious inside. I like the finish on it. I will be adding a little oil to it to bring out the richness in the wood and design. The hinges were very secure with no wobble with the lid. The downside is that the handle is screwed in, so it was very loose. I had to retighten. It will continue to untighten. It also arrived with a deep scratch on the very top of it.

If you buy this, don't buy online. There was no shipping material around the boxes. I ordered 2 of them plus a ceramic (fragile) item and they arrived in a soft plastic shipment bag like you would ship clothing in. They 3 items were all in the same bag, not wrapped individually and both decorative boxes are very scratched up! I'm surprised the ceramic bowl wasn't in pieces. I'm keeping it but now I have to find a touch-up marker to clean up the scratches. Also, one of the two doesn't close properly. One was a gift and I was so embarrassed to give it. I told them to throw it away if they didn't think they could repair the scratches. Ridiculous really. Just buy in the store so you can inspect it before purchasing. It's just decorative so I'll make it work I guess. I'll be more particular about what I buy online from Walmart in the future. To be clear, I'm not complaining about the delivery guy, just the lazy, careless person that packaged it up. Oh and the cute gold knob on the box is plastic. Be careful tightening the screw to keep it from spinning. You will strip it. Same goes for the hinges. I stripped the screws on mine on the hinges trying to get it to close shut properly. In my opinion, it's overpriced for what you get. Good luck!

I love the appearance of this little box, so after receiving the first one broken, I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the second one also arrived damaged. They packed it together in a plastic bag with a ceramic piece and no wrapping or protection, so it arrived chipped again. I'm debating whether it's even worth trying a third time.

Liked the box but so poorly made with at least 3 different places where it wasn't painted at all. And on the lid there was two little sticky felt things stuck to the box. When I looked at bottom there was four sticky felt things to keep your furniture safe. However, whoever packaged the item had to be blind not to see all the imperfections and it should not have ever been sent out. Now I have to go to the store and return it which is a big inconvenience.

Don't be influenced by the influencers, like I was. This box is inexpensive, but also looks inexpensive. The staining is spotty and uneven with some shiny parts, and some not. A bunch of sawdust type material came out of the box when I opened it and also had to be wiped off the box. Even the packing was low quality and did not appear to me to be new, or that it was made for the box it was sent in. Thankfully, I could, and did, return it!
