Better Homes & Gardens Solar Powered Path Light and LED Spot Light, Ground Stake or Mount (2-Pack)

The detachable stake that’s included makes this a versatile light. With the stake on, it looks like a pathway light or garden light. Without the stake, it can be screwed into a wall and act as a spot light when people walk by. Either way, the design looks like it is meant for either/or. I personally love these for my back yard in the dark corner where my dogs like to go do their business. At night when I let them out and the dogs go in that corner, it trips the sensor and lights up the path of rocks for them. Although I don’t think the dogs necessarily need or care about this, I like that I am able to see and watch what they’re doing. Besides that, it’s great at telling people we’re home – even when we’re sometimes not – because I notice that the motion sensor picks up on a stray movement like a leaf going by. The lumens on it is just perfect for my needs, but I would definitely pick up a pair instead of a single one so that I can set up the light to sort of criss cross each other. Tips on staking this into a harder-than-usual ground: get a bottle of water or a hose and spray the ground where you want to stake it down. Soak it real good. In about 15-20 minutes, get a mallet to pound the stake down, then lock the light onto the stake. If you try to stake this into a hard ground without soaking it first, you’re bound to break the stake or hurt yourself.

The BH&G solar motion sensor led light is a great product. It is an attractive design and is of high quality, sturdy and well made. I love that you can either use the spike to drive it into the ground or remove it and easily mount it onto a fence post. I mounted mine on a gate near my back patio. It provides enough light to make it easy to see my patio at night and the motion feature makes it brighten if you step outside or go in or out of the gate. Being that it is so well made I believe it will have a long life out in the weather. I would highly recommend this product for functionality, looks, and quality.

The Better Homes & Gardens Solar Motion Sensor LED Spot Light 600 Lumens is amazing. It is one single motion spot light that covers the whole front garden. It displays my palm tree beautifully. There is an on/off/auto button so you can choose which option that suits you whether that be dim, or bright (which I missed) lol. The product is super sturdy and amazing quality. It can also be used on the front/side/back, top of your home by removing the stake and screwing (screws included) in the spot you wish. I’ve always wanted a light to showcase the front of our home and it’s 600 lumens. I am thinking of buying another one soon for my back yard. The motion portion also appeals to me due to if anything moves it turns on. I’m so happy I received this product to try and after two day’s I want another one. Product was well packaged so no damage to the item and came with instructions, not that you really need any (comes put together) other then the on/off/auto switch I didn’t know about. Lol!!!! I recommend this for anyone needing some good lighting in the driveway, front door, back yard, or garden area.

This is an amazing solar motion LED spot light! The last few days have been overcast and rainy and I did not think the solar panel would get enough sun to work, but it did! I guess it does not require very much because it worked and provided more light than I would have thought to be possible. I have owned solar lights in the past and have not been very impressed with the light output, with this light I am very pleased! It lights up an entire area of my yard with ease and it also looks good. I think the post could be a little longer for a deeper set, but I have no complaints.

This light is awesome! It stays lit at night on a dimmer setting and then when motion is detected it brightens up. My daughter uses the carport door to come in and we were leaving the overhead light on for her. Now we have this and it works perfectly. It gives off a great amount of light. it is compact and looks nice. I will be getting more for our walkway and for our flags.

I love this Solar Motion Sensor Spot Light. I like that the light is really bright at night. We always have it in Auto mode and the sensor helps a lot at night.

These shine brightly, for the whole night. They have a dim and bright when motion activated. These are an amazing quality for little money. Great buy!

FIRST and FOREMOST, don't throw away the directions like I did! I put this out in my yard and for two days I moved it around, and each night, no light... so confused! Finally, I put it in a place that I knew darn well gets at least 8 hours of sun... no light! I retrieved it, thinking there was a tab or something that I missed, and sure enough, there was a little button on the back for Off, Lo, and Auto. The next night, the light glowed brightly! Yay! It's a great little light, and I look forward to using it for lighting my American Flag.

Be advised These are not path lights these are security lights. They only light up at 30 luminous constant. They only light up at 600 luminous if someone walks by.

These spotlights claim to have 600 lumens but they barely light up a bush at night. My other spotlights with only 200 lumens do better. Not worth the money, definitely will be returning these and exchanging them for the BHG 200 lumen spotlights.
