Better Homes & Gardens Springwood Storage Bench, Cream

I am so pleased with Better Homes and Gardens' storage bench. It is everything I was hoping for: well-made, sturdy, lovely truffle color boucle fabric, perfect size for my space, large storage capacity, and a beautiful addition to my living room. I LOVE it 💕. It shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. Be aware, some purchasers may require help maneuvering the box and removing the bench from the box due to its size and weight. The four legs screwed into place easily. There is a pull tab to lift the lid, and the interior hinge securely holds the lid open. Reasonably priced.

LOVE it!! Deep storage , soft shut springs. My husband says it looks grey but does have a blue tint. Love the leather handle detail! I waited for it to go on sale at $150 it's a steal. I put it in front of our kitchen bay window , use for my son's craft storage %26 he loves sitting on it looking out the window but would be great in a playroom / bedroom as well. Also, was worried with the light color that it would stain easy. I was going to scotch guard it but it must be stain treated already bc my son got orange play dough on it but came right off with a few dabs using a wet wash cloth.

I absolutely love this bench! I have been looking for over a month for the perfect storage bench for my bedroom and can’t believe I found this one at this price point. All the others I had in mind were 1- smaller and 2- atleast $100 more expensive. It comes assembled unlike others. The top stays up on its own when you’re getting stuff out of storage. I can’t recommend this enough.

The first one arrived damaged so I had to return it. Not too cumbersome since they provided a UPS label and pick up. The second one was perfect. It’s a great piece!

We loved it at first - color, texture, great storage, comfortable to sit on and looks great. But after only 2 weeks of use the gas shock that holds the lid up (too strong for this use) pulled the screws of the hinge right out out. I removed the shock and changed location of the hinge to keep it working but not worth this price.

I received it and it was broken. The top was broken and when you close it it’s uneven because of it. I returned it and 2 days later ordered a new one and it came the same exact way. I’m so disappointed because I love the bench. I don’t know if I want a refund and just order a different one. I’m so sad and frustrated

It arrived broken. One hinge was FULLY stripped and irreparable. The fabric and size are decent but it's unusable. So, now I have to return this enormous thing to a store. Ludicrous construction but I guess that's my fault for buying furniture from WalMart.

I am not sure why this is such a popular item. It is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It looks like one of those posts that cats scratch on…. If it was a different material, it would be very nice.

Broke within a few months of barely any use. The lid popped right off and the screws came out. Apparently I’m out of the warranty and I talked to Better Homes %26 Gardens directly… Or rather I’ve tried to… And my multiple emails to them have gone unanswered. Beautiful piece but poorly made. Save your money and buy something else.

Broke quickly! The hinge broke and now it doesn’t close properly. Such a shame as it’s so darn cute.
