This is a very large fire pit and it puts off heat. The copper base is a great feature.

This is a lovely hammered copper fire pit (or as the box labelled it "fir" pit.) There is really no assembly, just put the copper pot into the frame and insert the wood tray. The copper pot does not attach to the frame in any way and I made the mistake of "assembling" it on my porch so when we tried to move it out into the yard, it was kind of coming apart and we did drop it. The wood tray - which should hold the wood up off the copper bottom and allow air to get to the fire - is very low and lightweight. Also, my biggest concern, is that the copper pot has no drain holes so if you leave it uncovered it will fill with water and of course drown out your fire. There is a canvas cover included, but I can see that getting kicked around and not replaced, especially when you want to leave the pit before the fire is completely out and the pit cooled off. There is a wire mesh cover - presumably to prevent sparks. There is also a lifting tool for that lid, but it's very short so if you aren't tall enough then you will get burned using that cover - I think a better design would have been handles on the side of the cover. So, overall, while this is a lovely item for your yard, I'm not sure how usable it is or how long it will last.

I've used it a couple of times and the color / finish is wearing off

I purchased this brand new it was delivered in a box that was damaged and retapped up the copper bowl has dents all over it and the metal mesh to also was damaged I reached out to Walmart to be lied to I paid over 100.00 plus tax and she person said she would give me a whole 5.00 back or I could use my time and my own gas to drive back over to Fed ex to return it they accepted zero responsibility I will never ever buy anything on line from this disgusting incompetent company ever again I had purchased two garden wagons delivered damaged they had me jump thru hoops to drop it off at Fed ex after 14 people lied to me in their customer service line the most pathetic company ever they are liars !!!!

Very disappointed with Walmart!!! Came bent bet up and a mess, call about a this issues with only a $10 discount. Better homes and garden should look into this issues! Same as many others!!

Dented, the box looked like it had been opened and the fire pit returned. Would not recommend
