I decided to try these out after eliminating fabric softener and fabric softener sheets from my laundry routine because of skin irritation issues. I've definitely seen a decrease in my drying time and less wrinkles in my clothes. happy I made the switch and I'm sure my skin is too!
I’ve been told for years by friends to try dryer balls and it sounded like such a hippie and expensive idea, but I was getting so frustrated with how itchy my clothes were getting. I live in an apartment complex, and everything that is in the washer and in the dryer from everyone before me gets caught in my clothes. I have autoimmune hives and I’m autistic. I can’t physically or mentally stand little hairs poking me and things that I’m allergic to have been getting caught in my clothes so I gave in and bought these just hoping they would do some good. I had a furious laundry day and did 6 loads of laundry in one day to deep clean everything. I thought I was allergic to my soap, but now that there’s no hairs in my clothes, I’m finally itch free in my own clothing. I’m so grateful to have given in to these.
Work great. They help dry my laundry faster, they help with pet fur, and they're better for the environment. No need for me to use dryer sheets anymore. I also sometimes will put a couple drops of an essential oil like lavender on a few of the dryer balls so my clothes have a subtle scent to them.
These are fantastic. I love them. They siften my clothes and especially help dry (on extra low) my down jackets and coats after washing with Woolite. I plan to buy for family Christmas gifts.
So far so good been in use for a month or so the bag is nice but the reality is you just kind of leave them in the dryer. Depending on the amount of clothes you have in there they're less or more noisy.
my mom one of these she'll try almost anything these actually work she loves them. she's only doing wash for herself so she's not putting them in with a huge load but for what she uses them for they keep the static away and work as they are supposed to
I'm late to the whole dryer ball thing. I forget why I initially needed these, but since buying them, we have used them with every load of laundry in the dryer. They help cut down the drying time and help to limit a lot of static in loads we don't use dryer sheets in. I understand some replace dryer sheets with these, but I still use both in some loads. These are about the same size as a baseball, maybe even a little bigger.
After years of wondering if dryer balls are right for me, I picked these up on a whim and am so glad that I did! The balls really help keep my laundry fluffy and decrease the drying time, plus I can add any essential oil scents to them to boost fragrance for long-lasting freshness.
I didn't notice any difference in drying time, this i didnt mind. What i did mind was the static. Oh my goodness, it was terrible, i have less static using nothing. It's back to dryer sheets for me.
I usually get a different brand, but decide to try this brand. Upon opening, there was a human hair in the first ball. Took the others out to examine…same thing. It's disgusting. I will be returning these for a refund and going back to my previous brand.
