Better Homes & Gardens Woven Kitchen Runner - Black Border

I love these rugs. I bought one for my kitchen and then decided I needed them all over the house! 😂😂 Over the last three years I've purchased 7 of them; 5 long and 2 short door mats. The oldest one I have honestly looks as fresh and new as the one I just bought. My favorite thing about them is the rubber matting on the back. Most importantly, it looks well made (not cheap or chintzy) AND holds it in place on hard floors and helps it stay in place on carpet. Occasionally, I wash them on the delicate cycle (fold them in half longways) and then dry them in my patio railing. It takes maybe two or three hours in the sun. ☀️ I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Better home and garden never disappoints.

This is a really nice kitchen rug. I currently have it in front of my sink- it provides a soft surface to stand on, but it's not overly cushiony. It stays in place on our tile floor pretty well, some minor shifting, but nothing thats a deal breaker. Our roomba vacuums over it without getting stuck. I haven't washed it yet, so I'll be interested in those results, but it seems well made. My only complaint is that there aren't any other sizes in this same rug- I'd really like a matching one as a larger entryway rug.

I wasn't sure that this Better Homes & Garden runner was going to “work” in my narrow kitchen, but now I'm in love with it! As I mentioned, my kitchen is narrow, so I didn't think having such a long type of a runner would be safe, let alone, fit. I have been proven wrong and am now going to purchase the matching smaller mat! I placed this in front of the area of my kitchen sink, as I still wash dishes by hand, as does my daughter, so I figured the cushioned runner would be best suited there. It fit great, doesn't take up the whole center of the floor, and is even long enough to cover areas where I use/stand in front of the counter. It goes really well with my stainless steel and black appliances, so it is nice and stylish. I'm one who likes simple designs and this one is perfect. The bottom is non-skid on my ceramic tile floor and it's easy to clean; we just take a broom to it or either run our cordless vacuum over it, however the care instructions indicate that it is machine washable too. I've never owned a runner for the kitchen, but am very happy that I have this one and would highly recommend it. It is made well, the cushioning is just right, it doesn't skid or slide all over the floor, and it styled nicely to match up with any decor. I know a smaller version this brand of kitchen mat is also sold, and I intend to purchase that one and place it in front of my stove area. I really wasn't sure what I was going to get when I received the Better Homes & Gardens Woven Kitchen Runner - Black Border and I immediately thought this is way better than expected. It's not only attractive on my kitchen floor, it's comfortable to walk on with a cushioned non-skid latex back which stays put and made from durable 100% polypropylene that looks like a textured weave with a one inch black border all the way around. It measures 61 inches in length and 22 inches across from border to border. The runner is sturdy, not flimsy, vacuums nicely and I recommend it highly. Like other BH%26G products I've purchased recently, this is well made and seems like it should last for quite a while. I like that it is easily washable, although I haven't needed to do so yet. It is non-slip on my bare wooden floors, but if your floor is smooth, a little double-sided tape in the corners should do the trick. Altogether nice...especially for the reasonable price!

I absolutely love this kitchen rug. First of all it's a bit wider than most and that's a nice change as I can actually stand on it while washing dishes. Secondly the material it's made with is comfortable, sturdy and doesn't slip. While washing dishes soaks ups nicely and doesn't leave everything wet. It's stylish and matches my decor. I think it wash well on cold and line dry. I'm very pleased with this rug, I feel it will last a long time.

Very well made. Exactly as pictured. I dropped some staining liquid makeup on it by mistake and was able to clean it off with soap and water, no residual stain. Great neutral color for several types of deco: Modern, industrial, farmhouse, traditional, vintage. Love it. Price is a bargain. Doesn't slip-slide. I use it on tile in front of bath sink. Easy to wipe clean and vacuum

Better Homes & Gardens black bordered neutral colored woven kitchen runner is great for either my kitchen or bathroom. The colors of this floor rug go with just about any color cabinetry and offers a better feeling to hot hardwood in my kitchen or hot and slippery linoleum flooring in my bathroom during the summer months. I can definitely foretell during the cold winter months this runner will be a welcoming feeling for cold feet. The backing is a squishy rubber so there is added protection from the floor and gives more comfort on my feet.

This is one great runner/rug. When I got it I had so many places to use it that it was definitely a challenge to pick the spot. In fact, I am planning on purchasing a couple more of these. This runner is great for in front of double glass doors in front of your kitchen sink in front of your washer/dryer on a screen porch in front of sliders/french doors runner in your entry way bathroom runner etc, etc. The color is so neutral it should match almost any decor. The woven part is a very light/subtle tan/beige color and the black border/binding looks very rich. The runner also has a very nice rubber backing that keeps it from sliding on either wood or tile floor (as I tried it on both). The rubber backing is nice and thick and is very comfortable for standing on for long periods of time. Since the color is light I was a little concerned about using this in front of my kitchen sink (where I ultimately decided to use it) because of spilling/staining but did I mention IT IS WASHABLE. I highly recommend this runner - great size, comfortable under foot, neutral color palette, and it is washable. Don't think you can go wrong with this one.
