first comes the flavor of Cinnamon= yum. then you can cook to almost any texture you prefer, and then the nutrition is always included. Easy to prepare in the microwave for the morning breakfast.
just started eating these with my breakfast every morning, seem to give me the extra boost I'm needing, I'm male 64 years and need all the help I can get in the energy and healthy eating department

Have bought these (less sugar)instant oats for years. Love all the flavors.
I really liked the texture and taste of this Cinnamon roll oatmeal w/flax seeds. Since Quaker oats discontinued their brand of this flavor I came upon this one. It checks all the boxes except price per pouch is relatively high. I find the packets are way smaller, but would recommend just the same
I really like the packaging. The box has a perforated portion to tear off so I can easily and quickly grab the oatmeal packages in my overfilled pantry. The box sits nicely on the shelf. The directions were super easy. Step 1: tear the packet at the dotted line. Step 2: after emptying contents into a bowl. Fill water to the squiggly line. Pour into bowl and stir. Step 3: pop in the microwave for 90 seconds. What I love is the measuring cup on the individual package! At first, I was a little skeptical on whether the paper would hold the liquid and if it was easy to fill. It proved me wrong. It was super easy to fill the water to the squiggly line. And no measuring cup to wash afterwards! I could smell the yummy cinnamon roll flavor when it came out of the microwave. Taste test: I am a fan of steel cut oats. I also have tubs of the plan instant oatmeal because it's faster to cook, but I always add ingredients to it. I rarely buy the packaged instant oatmeal with flavors. They tend to be too sweet. Unlike other brands, this was not too sweet which I like very much. There is a little aftertaste of artificial sweetener? I prefer not to have that taste. It was a little overpowering for me. Besides that, it was a little bland. There was only a hint of the cinnamon roll flavor. I like the flax seed because it adds another level of nutrition, but it did stick to my teeth sometimes. No big deal though. The texture is a little too soft for me, but I think my parents would like it. So the texture depends on the person. I followed the instructions to fill to the water line then added a little milk when it came out of the microwave. The liquid amount was fine for me. Not too thin or thick. My picky almost 2 year old ate it just fine. She didn't love it, but she ate it. Her mouth was wide open with every spoonful so that's a plus for me. My husband who does not like oatmeal said it was okay. I don't think this was compelling enough for him to eat it again. In summary, I would buy it for the convenience and it's a healthier option than its competitors. To make it better, I would definitely add fresh fruits, raisins, etc. I would be interested in trying out the others flavors. While the amount of protein per package was low it was satisfying and “stuck to your ribs” until the next meal 3-4 hours later. My routine is small meals 5-6 times a day.
Not the taste that I expected.. too much of an artificial sweetener taste. I couldn't eat and ended up tossing the whole box.
