Better Off Dead (Blu-ray)

Easily the greatest film in which a stop-motion cheeseburger shreds Van Halen. Maybe the high point of absurdist 80s comedy, young John Cusack stumbles through various weirdo set-pieces that will either confuse or enthuse. It's easy to imagine someone just staring at the screen, baffled at the film's reality, it's total disregard for actual reality, but I just love this movie's cartoon energy. Every scene has something I laugh at. It's pure joy. If you know someone who has seen Weird Al or They Might Be Giants in concert, this is probably one of their favorite movies. Adjust expectations accordingly.

This movie is one of my all time favorites. There's just so much to love about it and it still cracks me up every time I rewatch it. John Cusack has been in many great movies but I think this is his best. I can't recommend this one highly enough.

Just such a classic movie, highly recommend this comedy. Not available on 4k, so had too grab this.

If you need a Friday night escape from reality, this will do it. Green bacon, talking hamburgers and all the normal high school schadenfreude turned on edge. Don't overthink, this isn't a morals play, just sit back, relax and laugh. John Cusack and a cast of other recognizable faces.

I was so excited to find this movie on Blue Ray. By far one of the funniest movies I have ever seen!

The quality of the picture is not what you would expect from a Blu-ray movie. There really isn't much difference from this and the old VHS copy I used to have.

Sadly the picture quality is worse than dvd,it is as if they used a dvd as the original.
