Good for soups

This stuff is way better than the pasty, powdery cubes you can buy. We use it to make stock to replace water in boxed rices (fast yummy meal!) Even to make more complex veggie soups that need better flavor. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We keep chicken and beef in the cabinet all the time. Also has a nice long expiration cycle. Would recommend keeping in the fridge when in use, easier to measure as a solid. Love that they have a mushroom and a veggie for the vegetarians. If I ever need to make a meat free dish for my friend I will give them a try. You should try it!

in low sodium. I have used this product for many years. It is great for gravies, soups, gee I use it often. Sometimes to give veggies some pizazz. I often use my fav Kitchen basics qt box for soups, etc. , but when u need just a lil, this is awesome. 4 stars, as a bit pricey compared to store, but I live in middle of nowhere, so glad to have online offering.

I was unable to find this in a store, and bought it online. I'm giving it a C grade based on the condition it arrived in. Product is great. But why would you send a glass jar across country (GA to CA) in a plastic envelope? It arrived shattered with glass shards everywhere. I'll give the company an A grade in making it up. Sent a replacement product after picture sent to show how unusable it was. But really, folks, cross country by mail in a plastic envelope with no bubble wrap or any protective wrapping?

I haven't opened the jar because it had obviously been on the shelf for a long time based on the amount of dust on the lid. Also the expiration date is so obscured that I cannot tell if the product is safe to use.
