Better Than Bouillon Organic Roasted Chicken Base, Shelf-Stable, 8 oz Jar

First of all, it is organic--which is the only thing you should use. Secondly, it makes excellent chicken stock, or anything else that needs bouillon, for it is really better than bouillon

My Mom introduced this to me. She loved making soups during the winter.... Let's just say we carried on the tradition. Thanks to her, we love to use as a soup base and as a sipping soup itself. Add hot water in your favorite mug and sip away. It is that delicious. It varies on taste how much to add. It can be salty if you add too much. The best thing about using this as a soup base is it is ready to go straight from the jar to your soup. We cook with it too! Add flavoring to our broccoli and rice dish or cauliflower and turmeric stir fry. It's not just for soup! 😉 (a little goes a long way)

My mom is transitioning to a whole food, unprocessed vegan diet, but she still craves meat. I add this to her pasta fazool, or vegetable noodle soup, gumbo, et cetera, and it gives her that meaty flavor that she's hankering for, without the massive dose of fat, cholesterol, and excess protein that meat contains.

Very easy to use. All you have to do is use a small spoon of this in a cup or a shaker with water. And mix it sometimes it helps. If the water's warm and then you can add it to your soup or whatever you're making and it will give it some nice chicken or whatever flavor you get. Because there is other flavors and it comes out perfect. You can add a little bit more if you want a little more flavor that I didn't know to start out with this small amount. And work your way up because if you put a large amount, it can make it a little saltier, they're a little more flavor than you might want. My first time I did that dinner ended up salt here than I wanted one time or I hope that helps someone out there. Enjoy your dinner thank you

This is a staple in my kitchen. A little goes a long ways in flavor. It has an enriched flavor that gives yoyr soups and everything you use it in that extra homemade flavor. Better taste than those foil wrapped brand bouillon chicken cubes. Worth the cost and keeps a long time in the refrigerator.

Wonderful flavor and can be easily used for so many dishes. I haven't found a better affordable replacement for bouillon and base for cooking.

GREAT PRODUCT -- Just a bit pricey! Somewhat out of reach for BUDGET conscious individuals.... However, I do comprehend ORGANIC ingredients are the reason for the added expense.

It's very salty, trying to get the right ratio in my cooking is gonna take some trial and error..... so far, I have to use way more than the serving size suggestion....too little and it's just so-so, the serving size is questionable..... but it does have pretty good flavor..... which I'm assuming is all the salt more than anything...to me it doesn't taste like the drippings off of a roasted chicken... I'll keep playing with it in my recipes.

I'm not a bullion guy, generally. But having it on hand can be a lifesaver at times. This brand is better than most I have tried. Organic. A jar lasts me a year! What's not to like?

The image of the ingredients is incorrect. The real label says that there’s more onion powder and also garlic in it. Which I knew because I smelled it I didn’t want so much onion powder, and any garlic in my bouillon, so it’s a no. If I want garlic I’ll add it.
