textire, flavor is excellent. will definitely purchase again. it us great that I can cook only as much as I desire. Cannot wait to try the mushroom risotto when it comes back into stock. Bettergoods product exceed excellence.

Just the right amount of creaminess, cheesiness and asparagus. Of course you could steam some fresh asparagus to go along side this for a satisfying meal.

I liked this risotto a lot. It's creamy, flavorful, and easy to cook. The asparagus blends well with the rice, and the portion is satisfying. Definitely something I would buy again.

i was so happy to see this side dish offered by bettergoods because its by fat my favorite brand that walmart carries . Very clean simple ingredients and no fake ingredients This dish was effortless to make and that is priceless to me. While making dinner and i need an extra side theres nothing easier than grabbing somerhinf from the freezer and add a little water and dump it into a pot and in not time everyone things you made risotto from scratch. i rated this a little lower because my kids and husband both turned this away mainly because of texture. it was way more mushy than i would like and the vegetables had zero firmness or crunch...the asparagus was slimey so that was an immediate no from my family. so if you have kids or anyone with texture issues just lnow that it could be an issue.

Where's the asparagus? Tamara is right, I'm not so forgiving. Minus one star for greatly exaggerating the size of the actual asparagus slivers on the package image.

So far we have liked most of the better goods items. This was flavorless mush. We heated in the microwave per the instructions. Perhaps stovetop would be better. We added some cheese but that did not improve it enough to make it edible. Hard pass on this one.

We have loved Better Goods products, until tonight. I cooked this item tonight for dinner. It was absolutely disgusting! It was soupy, the risotto was gummy, there was almost no asparagus and so bland. My wife and I took one little bite and it went into the garbage. My wife stated that it's probably what old socks tastes like. I tend to agree.

When I made this meal and started eating I bit down on something hard and spit it out to find a small wooden cube. I poked through and found a second one. They are like small wooden teeth or popcorn kernels made of wood in a cube shape. It was not woody asparagus. I did a Walmart echat and tried to see if there was a recall or similar reports, but just got an apology for my inconvenience and a refund for the product and $15 credit. I would like to know if they filed this report and if there have been others.

Decent flavor, texture. But the illness I got? Hard pass. I don't know if it was a bad batch but I've never been so sick from something before this and the mushroom flavor of same brand.

This is awful. Not even close to any risotto I've ever had. Instructions for the microwave weren't very accurate either. Save yourself some money and skip this item.
