I had a craving for grits and this is what Walmart had to offer. I can't recommend these highly enough. If you're from the South and ever have had a grandmother with a subscription to any Southern lifestyle magazine you've had these or something similar. Trust me, these are better. Perfect seasoning, texture, cheesiness, touch of spice. I'm afraid they'll become hard to get. Great for a Sunday brunch or along with some barbecue whatnot. Ooo or fried chicken. Or pot roast.

It is GREAT as is. ....But you can also add extra bell pepper or onion etc during the mixing after the first 20-minute cook. And you can sprinkle cooked bacon on it at that time also. It turns out WONDEFUL. Great texture , appearance, flavor.

Don't put it in a toaster oven or you'll burn the bottom. Was still good! I didn't realize it had egg in it. I added a little more shredded cheddar. Bought 2 to have with Christmas dinner. Yummy!

Delicious. If you like cheesey grits, this meal is for you. The eggs give it a nice fluffy texture. It's quite filling so one casserole lasted me 3 days. It still tasted great after reheating it.

Cheesy Grits Casserole was tasty. I added some butter, which made it even better. It is so easy to prepare, too!! This is not spicy at all, just cheesy goodness! If you like grits, you'll like this!!

My husband loves grits, so we have this casserole often for breakfast. We normally prefer to heat in the oven, but our oven isn't working. It's good microwaved, too. It has cheese and tiny bits of bell pepper, too.

This is quick and easy! Pop it in the oven while your bacon is cooking and voilà, great for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner. I would definitely serve this as a side with fish or grits, too! Delicious and a big hit with the family!

The texture is creamy and it warms up nicely, but the flavor wasn't quite there for me. I was hoping for a richer cheese taste with a little more depth. It's not terrible, just not something I'd reach for again when there are better options in the freezer aisle.

I actually never write reviews. Never feel inclined, even if it's less than stellar. But these? Terrible. I love grits. Love cheesy grits. I've tried this brand in the sweet potato casserole and it's amazing. But these cheesy grits weren't it. They were bitter and the texture was almost uncooked. Definitely crunchy more than a subtle crunch/creamy… I will never buy them again and feel very disappointed in my purchase. I'm sad I can't get a refund. We tried a bite and immediately had regrets. Don't waste the money. Especially if you love grits.

This product is tasteless and watered down. I had to add salt, pepper, butter, and Alfredo sauce to make it more palatable. Even then, I couldn't eat more than two forkfuls before I threw it out. Don't waste your money!
