bettergoods Chicken Curry Empanadas, 9.6 oz, 8 Count (Frozen)

Was not expecting much at all from these little empanadas. However, I offered them as finger food at game night and they were a total hit. I couldn't stop eating them! They don't have too much Crust per ingredients ratio and they are satisfying. Perfect size as well as finger food.

When I say, I highly highly recommend these, please trust me! I make yellow chicken curry a lot, and these had an incredible chicken yellow curry flavor. The value for the money is there. This is a great appetizer for two or threeIf you really wanted, you can make a meal out of it. I drizzled the Bettergoods hot honey on it and took it over the top for added flavor. I don't think you'll find anything else like this. Worked great in the air fryer with the recommended temperature and time for me. Walmart backs up their products with satisfaction guaranteed and I promise you, you will be satisfied.

You definitely have to cook these in the oven to get the best taste and avoid that cardboard texture. I bought two boxes and tried one in the air fryer, but it turned out too crunchy. The oven was perfect—you just need to cook them a few minutes longer. I did 10 minutes on one side and 10 minutes on the other, and they came out just right. I'll definitely be buying them again.

It's shredded chicken inside with a light curry. I put them in the air fryer, but when I flipped them at four minutes, I sprayed the other side with miso oil made them a little crunchy than the other side. I'm not really sure why the outside crust is really hard where it's pinched together. I'm thinking of maybe putting water on it next time to make it softer or lowering the temp. They come out and stayed hot for 15 minutes before you could even touch them and eat them.

Not too spicy. Mild in Flavor. 2 is a great portion for a serving. Plenty of Filling, not just crust. Crust appeal is flaky. Savory comfort Food.

Delicious snack size empanadas. The curry isn't too overwhelming. It is just right! The outside is crispy which I love. I wish it'd have at least 4 more empanadas for the price.

Not full size, snack size. Quite tasty for a quick bite. The curry is not too spicy or overwhelming. I like them for something different and I will buy them again. Easily reheated in an air frier or oven.

We've enjoyed many better goods food products, but this one was a disappointment. The filling was blah, not very curry-tasting. The dough was OK but nothing special, very disappointing.

Please don't get this if you've never tried curry… it's incredibly bland compared to real Indian food, although the flavor (what little there is) seems authentic enough although turned down enough that you could convince a rural Minnesotan to eat it and like it. That's NOT a recommendation of high praise unless you like faintly flavored mashed potato with a little chicken in it, which is what this reminds me of. This is my first experience with Bettergoods and I am NOT Impressed.

Has a lot of curry, but not much flavor. The texture is weirdly unnerving inside and outside, I'm hard pressed to agree it's chicken. I'm throwing the rest of the box in the trash. Yuck.
