bettergoods Everything Bagels, 15 oz, 5 Count deliver a delicious experience with a satisfying texture that’s crisp on the outside and chewy inside when toasted. Perfect toasted with butter or layered with cream cheese, they offer a rich, well-seasoned flavor that’s both savory and slightly tangy. While not sweet like raisins, they mix well with a variety of toppings for breakfast, snacks, or meal prep. Easy to slice and quick to prepare, these bagels are freezer-safe, convenient, and ideal for busy mornings, making them a versatile, crowd-pleasing staple you’ll reach for again and again.
I was hoping that this bagel brand was good if not better then the brand name ones, I was very surprised it was sliced right through not like other brands. And the taste was very good, I will definitely order more.
While scrolling through the website looking for Everything Bagels, I happened upon this brand. I did not toast the bagel(Room temperature)and used the Walmart brand whipped cream cheese. This bagel has a light and airy texture but it does crumble easily, if not toasted, and it tastes great. It does not make your stomach feel full, after eating it. Give them a try, you just might like them for the taste and cost!
Normally, I love bagels and I don’t mind swapping a Bettergoods product for a name brand, but these were a complete disappointment. The texture was gummy, and even after toasting, it still didn’t improve. The seasoning was unbalanced—too much salt and not enough of the other tasty seeds that make an everything bagel so good. If you’re looking for that classic chewy bagel with a flavorful topping, I’d pass on these and go with another option.
-a bit gummy of a chew -doesn’t toast very well or keep its consistency -pairs decent as a sandwich bread but lacks the more bready yeasty taste
I ordered a different brand and was substituted two bags of these. My first impression was the strong smell even prior to opening the bag. They are alot thinner than other brands which I didn't mind. The texture and flavor are just definitely different than any other bagel I've had. I got the everything ones and somehow they tasted so much like garlic and onion but at the same time had no real "flavor" which was confusing but it's the only way I can describe it. The everything topping consisted of 90 percent poppy seed and oddly was only on one half of each side, like each half one side was very heavily seeded and the other side had nothing. We will eat them but I wouldn't buy them again and I'll be changing my substitution on bagels to make sure I don't get them again.
Skip these and purchase the Thomas Everything or Dave's Killer bagels. These are tastless, with more poppy seeds than "everything" else. The Thomas bagels are so much flufflier and the quality is significantly higher. The Dave's Killer bagels are heathier, but I prefer the Thomas.
My bagels came and crushed. but that's not my complaint. it's nice that they were pre-cut, but they fall apart and it seemed like they crumble at least mine crumbled. when I try to put cream cheese on it, there's just crumbs all over the place. I don't know why they seem pretty fresh though. one the reason why I had purchased this brand this kind because the everything bagel that's from marketplace there are out of them. the marketplace everything bagels are a lot better and believe there cheaper in price and they just taste more like a bagel. but I tried this for brand. I didn't really have too much of an option either. that's my opinion on these biggles other people maybe love these bagels better either. like I said mine came and squished the date was still good on it. you can tell they were pretty fresh but they just broke apart very easily and was very tough too. put cream cheese on it when I was just falling apart. it could have been just the bag I had. it could have been because the bagels were crushed. maybe that's why it was harder to put cream cheese on it. I don't know. would I recommend this? no will I buy this again? I don't know. my first choice will be the marketplace. everything bagels I've never had a problem except for the date on them. they're about to expire the next day and as well once I had a problem with that.
These bagels were doughy, heavy and no real flavor to them. Very, very disappointing. I will never buy again. I have noticed that the Walmart items under this particular brand can be very tasty or very bad. For me, these “everything” bagels were bad and the same brand of asagio cheese bagels were not good either. Where are the good bagels?!
Threw them out after eating half of one. Even toasting doesn't improve. Gummy texture, no flavor - not even a hint of garlic, cheese. The only thing related to actual bagels is the shape.
