i love this product the cheese melts evenly i use this cheese in burritos, sandwiches, salads chilli and pastas very flavorful with a lower sodium count than most cheeses the flavor os amazing i also love that its a blend of cheeses this product is really yummy.
I'm a cheese loving vegetarian who has a reputation for my homemade Mac and cheese. I'm pretty humble but when it comes to my macaroni and cheese I'll definitely brag, it's phenomenal! Saw this and the price was great so I thought I'd try and spice it up and sprinkle this on top instead of my tried and trusted Colby sharp cheddar combo. Wow doesn't even begin to describe the magic it created. The complexity of the Gruyère really took it to a whole new level! This will be my new go to cheese for elevating my epic grilled cheese sandwiches, taco salads and burritos too!
I'm a creature of habit but my son convinced me to try a Better Goods item one day and I quickly went in search for other items in their line up. Once I found their cheeses I was a solid hard core fan. This is the PERFECT cheese for homemade pizza. Whether you make your crust with a thin tortilla, a lovely flatbread, or a delicious yeasty homemade dough, this is the cheese to choose. Here are my thoughts. Pros: The perfect blend of cheeses is right there in the bag. It has everything from a smooth melt to a umami rich finish with just the right amount of “tang” or sharpness. The color variation in the cheeses shows through on the melt to give added interest. For the quality of cheese you get, this is an outstanding value. While pizza is my “go to” for this cheese, it's also delicious on a salad along with some pieces of grapes or apples Cons: - Sadly it isn't available in larger bags.
Better Goods is the best choice for people that have problems with their stomach, love the taste great on making grilled cheese on salads, macaroni and cheese taste so good when using this brand. Anywhere you need cheese it is the best I have ever tried.
I love the cheeses from Better Goods! I recommend them to everyone I know! I have not had a Better Goods product that I didn't like and I love that they are affordable!!!
Definitely use this cheese if you make macaroni and cheese. Gives it a good flavor. Since I found this cheese, I don't use anything else for my macaroni and cheese.
I am a huge fan of the better good brand. And I love cheese. And they combine interesting varieties of cheese and shredded cheese. You could just sprinkle on whatever you want- winning!
I made mac n cheese with this cheese and added pepper jack, cheddar, monterey jack omg i love the blends of this cheese
All packaged shredded cheeses have to use an anti-clumping agent. Bettergoods uses potato starch, which is far superior to cheaper brands that often use wood cellulose. Taste wise, the mozzarella is a bit bland, but the other flavors make this a very good topping for lasagna, baked ziti, etc.
I thought this might be like Tillamook cheddar, but it was plasticky and I had zero taste. I mean it literally tasted of nothing. The aroma wasn't pleasing either.
