Lovely, even my toddler enjoyed them. They do contain red pepper and you can taste it, it's not in the description but it is in the ingredients so maybe read those too :). I was expecting them to be a little crispy but they weren't but we're still good.
Delicious! I wouldn't object to a tiny bit more fig but they're still very good. I popped them in the oven without preheating %26 they were perfect in the 20 min cook time. My only complaint is I'd like to eat a couple of boxes at once. This brand is new to me %26 I've really enjoyed the few things I've tried.
These are the perfect blend of the sweetness of figs with the savoriness of goat cheese and a very mild kick of red pepper flakes. highly recommend as an appetizer or even a small meal. Just a tip, cook them on parchment paper, as the pastry sticks to aluminum foil.
These are absolutely delish! Don't care what anyone says about them being hot. I used to love the heat but can't take it anymore. These are not excessively hot. They are so good that my cart always has 2 in it. I have to control myself otherwise they would be consumed immediately.
Yummy! We are very sensitive to spice and did not have any problems with these. After reading the other reviews my guess would be that it might be a luck of the draw thing? We would try then again... even at the risk of spice. It would be awesome if they would just eliminate the red pepper flakes though... we wouldn't miss them, and LOVED them without the spice.
Figs in a Blanket have become my go‑to snack whenever I want something a little fancy. They're definitely on the pricier side for the quantity, but the quality consistently makes them worth it. They're perfect for gatherings, appetizer spreads, or even a cozy night in with a good movie. One thing to note: they do have a subtle kick. I wasn't expecting it at first, but once I realized what it was, I really enjoyed the mild heat. As for cooking, they turn out well in the air fryer, but the oven delivers the best results—the pastry is delicate, and the oven helps it stay crisp and intact.
These were really freaking good - though I am knocking a star off because nowhere on the package except the back of the box at the bottom of the ingredient list in very tiny letters does it mention the red pepper flakes, and they're kinda overpowering. Also kinda pricey for what little you get, but I'll still get them again.
Thought they would be a sweet treat. I was wrong. No where on the packaging says that there are red pepper flakes in there except for the last ingredient on the ingredient list. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew they were going to be hot.good flavor otherwise. Omit the red pepper and it would be perfect
I would give this 3 1/2 stars because I wouldn't have known there was fig hiding in the blanket. Creamy cheese and crunchy crust was a nice combo of texture for my mouth. Red pepper flakes give it a nice little punch - I had to look at the ingredients to see what it was. I served it with a little honey on it. Overall a nice appetizer but it needs more fig.
They ARE HOT! No where on the front of the package does it mention chili flakes. if you turn it over and read the back every single word at the end you find chili flakes. And who would expect chili flakes in something called 'figs in a blanket'? Very disappointed, otherwise they would have been good.
