I love these enchiladas. They have the traditional taste that is so delicious. The red sauce is thick and rich, a perfect blend.. And they are mild with the the right amount of spices.
Box contains 2 enchiladas that taste ok and are mildly spicy. For some reason, there's a lot of grease in this product. The portion is enough for a light meal. I would buy this again to have handy in the freezer for when I occasionally want enchiladas.
If you're expecting them to taste like homemade or restaurant enchiladas, you'll be sadly disappointed. I was.
I was very excited to try these because I do buy a lot of the better goods products. However, this was an absolute no for me and I'm not a fussy person. Just to forewarn everyone, that there is a spice in here, that is not listed in the ingredients, that tastes very similar to that of “Indian” food. If you're not a fan of Indian food, then I wouldn't recommend buying these. I looked at the ingredients it looks like everything that cheese enchiladas should have, however, again, at the very end of the ingredients list, it says “spices”. It doesn't list what spices, but there is something in there that was NOT good and completely threw me off. The sauce was super thick too and there was barely any cheese in them. Again, they tasted like Indian food versus Mexican food. I almost thought I was tasting mint or maybe cardamom. I only ate a few bites and threw the rest out. I couldn't get rid of the aftertaste in my mouth either.. too bad, because I do buy a lot of other products. I was hoping these would be great too.
there was practically no cheese except a few sprinkles on top and it was way too spicy for how little cheese it had to help cool the palate. the sauce was acrid. at least the tortillas had decent texture and flavor. it's way too high in calories for having so little cheese and leaving my hunger completely unsatiated. i was really hoping to like these enchiladas, but no such luck.
Reminded me of dog food in texture and very one note flavor wise. Found weird plastic like objects, but could have been pepper skin? Those bits were inedible.
I wont buy this again. It does not taste like enchiladas in any way, it is a different texture and different taste altogether. It does not have a tomato-based sauce or enchilada spices. As far as I am concerned it is not edible and is not an enchilada.
Was purely disappointed. Atrocious smell while it was cooking in the oven. mix of plastc, chemicals and something else. My daughter who is on a Gluten free diet. Tried pne bite and literally gagged. She said the taste was even worse than the smell!!!!! Definitely don't recommend.
THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THE QUALITY OF THE BETTERGOODS LINE . THIS IS NOT THE WAY ENCHILIDAS TASTE . VERY NSMALL SERVING NOT WORTH THE MONEY
These enchiladas are barely edible and not because of the gluten-free tortillas. The sauce is very bitter and there is very little cheese. I couldn't finish them because they just tasted so bad.
