¡Rico!

Laura September 8, 2025

I will most definitely buy this again. although I had let the dish completely thaw, reheated it with dinner plate mode on a microwave, topped it with a little extra cheese... it was way better than I anticipated. it actually reminded me of homemade tamales. yum!

BetterGoods Mexican casserole

Brenda February 9, 2026

This casserole looked good, so I bought one to put in the freezer to try on another day. But that was before I found out I don't like black beans. So obviously, this didn't work out for me. But I would still recommend trying it, because if you like black beans, I'm sure you will like this.

Not too spicy, which is important

Crusader March 24, 2025

It's not as good as Amy's, but it is at least one dollar less. The ingredients seem healthy, which is why it might be a little bland. One can always add chili paste or sauce to spruce it up. Someone complained about the tortilla strips. They tasted just fine to me. The key to good taste may also be not overcooking the item in the microwave. This is the first time I have tried this item, and I will try it again to see if my opinion changes.

Not for me

Anonymous October 4, 2025

Had to add lots of cheddar cheese and taco sauce and chopped up pickles to make it taste good to me. Very pasty and thick. It did fill me up but I won't buy again. Also too expensive for what you get.

NOT 240 CALORIES

Kim July 26, 2025

i really enjoy this product but its recently changed. It's no longer 240 calories, it's now 370 calories. Same size, sme package, but different nutrition information, which makes me wonder if 240 calories was inaccurate all along? I ordered 4 in one grocery order and 1 had the 240 calories package, while the other 3 have the 370 calories package.

Not great

Susan August 1, 2025

The beans are not soft. Overall the taste is good but don't like hard, dry beans. I bought this before %26 had the same problem but thought it was a fluke--but both times?? Not again

Picture of product is misleading. There is no cheese. It's simply mushy corn chips in taco seasoned tomato sauce. The flavor of the sauce was ok, but the texture of the mushy chips spoiled it.

HORRIBLE!!!

Daimyo December 7, 2025

OMG, this thing is AWFUL!!! It is utterly tasteless and has a very weird mushiness to it. Inedible! I did not notice it was "gluten free", this may be why it's so bad. "Gluten free" usually means "taste free". Maybe a regular one would taste better? But, this one is absolute crap!

Edible but won't purchase again. The regular brand that they are trying to copy-cat is MUCH better. I usually like this brand, they have a lot of things that are great. This one was a flop and a big NO for me. Flavor and texture just wasn't anywhere close to what I was expecting.

worthess mush! I would have preferred flushing $5

Wanda February 27, 2025

Mushy sludge. I am very fond of many Bettergoods items...but today I lost trust. Seriously, how hard can frozen corn and beans be???? Get some if you think it would be impossible to f@%23k up corn and beans. check the picture--- it was still frozen, right out of my delivery. Flavor was not redeeming either.
