Can you just say omg ! , this pot pie was ful of chicken and veggies. It had flaky crust and a great texture of the chicken and the vegetables and left me feeling full and satisfied. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is searching the freezer isle for something new & different
I was really impressed with the bettergoods Homestyle Chicken Pot Pie! The crust came out flaky without being too hard or soggy like many frozen pot pies can be. It's tasted delicious and savory and fed myself, my husband, and even my picky preschooler with just one pie. Will be buying again.
I made this pot pie for my family to share. We were able to share it between 3 people very generously. The crust was buttery and flaky. The inside was flavorful and full of chicken and vegetables. We really enjoyed this because it has been so cold outside lately and it was a very comforting meal.
Bettergoods Homestyle Chicken Pie is a true comfort food sensation! The flaky crust is buttery and golden-brown, encasing a savory filling that's packed with tender chunks of chicken, creamy gravy, and hearty vegetables. Every bite is a delightful blend of flavors and textures that will leave you feeling warm and satisfied. This is a must-try for anyone who appreciates classic comfort food.
This is a great and easy dinner option to do with the family, just take it out of the box place on a cookie sheet put it in the oven at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes and enjoy, my family absolutely loved it, the tray it has to bake in has little tiny pocket dips to help cook it evenly, and it tastes amazing, even the kids love the vegetables and everything else in it,
First of all it was much larger than I was anticipating.. it was delicious. The crust was perfectly crunchy and flaky. The filling was very hearty and the vegetables were good. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it could've had more chicken. The chicken pieces are quite small and not as much as I would like. Other than that the pie was great.
It is tasty, taste like chiken with stuffing in the pie. Great for thanksgiving season and winter, great size for family of 3-4. 4 stars, because i dont think i would buy it in the summer it is more like fall dish, reminds me Thanksgiving. Also long cooking time 40-50 mins. I wish it was faster. But overall pretty good.
Recently discovered the brand bettergoods and usually I am very happy with everything I try but this one has a pretty thick pastry. It does taste more homemade than the dollar chicken pot pies but I personally prefer the filling to have more sauce. That being said better goods in general does seem to offer better ingredients at a lower cost than any other granola brand I've tried so I will probably buy again for that reason alone
I usually love pot pies and looked forward to this one since it was one my husband and I could share, but our experience was horrible! While baking our house smelled funny and when it was done we tried to eat it, but our first bite made us each nearly puke because the crust tasted like rancid oil. We ended up eating yogurt and having protein shakes because after spending 50 minutes baking the pie it was too late to cook anything else. Huge disappointment!
It was totally dry. I bought this for my dinner expecting it to be creamy and gravy but it was not. It was just very disappointing!
