I LOVE these!! For so many years I've looked through smoothie recipes and had to buy a ton of ingredients yogurt, almond milk, juice, frozen fruit, banana and honey and never got a great smoothie. My kid and me can't get enough of them. I think it's a great price and if you used the directions on the back of half a bag/4oz and 4oz of juice it would make it really a great price to get 2, 8oz smoothies but I can not follow that recipe I like a thick smoothie and their recipe is more "watered down" So I use the whole bag and for this flavor I add orange juice 1/2 a cup and a little over 1/2 a cup of water. I never use apple juice in a smoothie I believe it overwhelms the flavors and ends up tasting like apple juice. my only complaint is there aren't enough flavors, they flavor they have are all great but a larger variety would put this company over the top seriously love them that much
Amazing flavor, the texture was just right, and 1/2 hour, got such a boost, that always help when you're 60 yrs. old, thanks. Sorry, no photos, drank it as soon as I got it, with my condition, it help balance my sugar intake.
I love these smoothie mixes. They are delicious and I've been able to create smoothies that are delicious. I just add apple juice and vanilla protein powder. Yummy.
Daughter did not like Texture. her words it was gelatanous, if you like an Icy smoothie its probally not for you. This particular one for me was smooth, fluffy with no substanance- we both thought flavor was good. The elder berry was gelantionous and gritty. flavor wise it was ok. value cost is ok it says it will make 3 smoothies we got 1 1/2 from both bags.
Kinda fibbed: yes i would recommend it...with misgivings. But circling back yes - if only for the sake of convenience. I mean you could freeze your own fruit during its seasonal peak and then break it out of the freezer and enjoy it thusly. However if you simply cannot be bothered and just want to reach into your freezer for a pre-fab bag of tasty - this works.
I really wanted to like this smoothie mix but the ginger and turmeric ruined it for me. I tried adding a fresh banana and a spoonful of sugar, but still the smoothie was bleh— has a weird bitter aftertaste. Honestly reminded me of Ecuadorian tamarillo juice. I would recommend buying the frozen fruits separately, unless you appreciate the added extras.
It's a banana smoothie…. The banana overpowered everything else, didn't taste mango or anything So if you like bananas….. also there was a rouge strawberry in it that was the second taste
First of all, I ordered pineapple mango, which my grandson loves. The package showed pineapple mango, but inside was strawberries and peaches. This is supposed to be for making smoothies but it is literally just frozen fruit, there is no special mix or powder or anything. Just buy frozen fruit people, it is cheaper!
It had plastic hard white pieces of plastic. I double checked that my blender was fine. I had no hard white plastic items to get accidentally mixed in. I called the number on the back and it was a crap show. While on hold it was constant telemarketing, press this to buy that. After 20 minutes of this, it just hangs up. Horrid customer service. Still couldn't report the nasty plastic. I didn't even want my money back, just to let them know quality control was not working.
I usually do not review anything. I don't want anyone to waste their money. I broke my own rule by instead of just buying one to sample. I bought 2. But it has all of my favorite ingredients in it. I mixed it exactly how the directions said. I just used water. It was what I had on hand. I even used one of the hand held blenders. I trashed it. I gave it two tries. The second drink was worse than the first. I would recommend just buying some frozen fruit and yogurt. It's cheaper and tastes much better. I bought this based on the reviews. I went with the good over the bad as most of us do. Please I know u don't know me, but please trust me on this one!! It's too expensive to throw away. Well for me it is…
