I love Silk chocolate milk, however, sometimes their prices are not pocket friendly. Came across this at my local Walmart - fell ... in .... love...highly recommend Bettergoods products in general, but this is just as good as Silk and more budget friendly.

Tasty, and more refreshing than chocolate cow milk because it is slightly less viscous. Very comparable to Blue Diamond's Almond Breeze in flavor and texture. If you want something closer to the texture and viscosity to chocolate cow milk, I recommend Silk. Probably the best first choice if you're looking to permanently make the switch (I recommend oatmilk as a non-chocolate cow milk substitute; plain or vanilla almond milk are a bit too earthy, but that works very nicely with chocolate).

This Chocolate Almond milk has a very creamy consistency and a rich chocolate flavor. Its affordable, 4 cents per oz. AND it keeps in the fridge maybe 4x longer than cows milk!! Heres why: While both dairy and almond milk spoil, dairy curdles and sours due to lactic acid bacteria, whereas almond milk relies on oxidation or mold to spoil. Dairy spoils within a week of opening, but almond milk can last up to 10 days post-opening and months if unopened! I make chocolate milk shakes with it, a couple scoops "GV Chocolate Yogurt Ice Cream, (half the calories of ice cream), 1c Chocolate Almond Milk %26 5 ice cubes! Pulse in blender, until ice is a nice consistency! Still that same chocolately flavor and lot less calories! Almond milk is a very good substitute for coffee creamer!! I use it in baking, just like milk, the swap is healthier too!

There is nothing wrong with the almondmilk, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted chocolate almondmilk that had some flavor of almonds. This brand tastes like regular chocolate milk, specifically 1%, since it seems a bit watered down. No almond hint at all. If you're looking for chocolate almondmilk that tastes like 1% chocolate milk, this is definitely for you! You wouldn't know it isn't regular milk.

this item is generally pretty consistent as far as the quality of the taste and the pricing, don't have a problem with that at all. one of my concerns is 75% of the time it's either not in stock at all or if you want three or four you may only get one. myself being retired from one of the major Futures companies in North America, had to follow our company's mission statement and that was 100% customer service satisfaction which meant we could not be out of anything anytime for any of our clients. our corporate office correspondence back to our office concerning such a matter was that is not good enough and then they would say being out of anything is never acceptable and we certainly took that to heart because we knew what it meant for our department. being out of an item was not acceptable in any way fashion or form. we always had to be not just one step out in front of issues as far as shortages and product being not available we had to come up with any and all other means to adjust to any type of circumstance or situation no matter what that might be, and do what was necessary to always have products available for our clientele. some things can be controlled when you're willing to step up to the plate and do so. I know there are a lot of factors that come into play that purchasing departments have to deal with, but by staying informed and then preparing accordingly you can be much more effective in your mission statement than otherwise without being intuitive as far as markets, availability, seasonal situations. as an example an interesting item is canned salmon, if you don't stay informed as to exactly when the salmon runs are and also how productive the salmon run is for any given year , you might find yourself out of canned salmon or at least in a pinch. it's obviously all about good effective and efficient planning. thank you, well wishes to you all

I have purchased this product many times as the BetterGoods brand (made by Walmart) has been a nice addition to the revolving door of corporate brands within the last couple of years. It has always been less expensive than alternatives like Silk, despite their dark chocolate almond milk being the best tasting over BetterGoods, but at double the price BG has been our go-to chocolate milk because we're a household of dairy intolerant folks, me with an actual allergy which means not even Lactaid can be consumed. BUT, in the most recent order I placed (writing this in March 2026) it tasted suspiciously watery. Normally I'd think it might be an “off” batch; not contaminated in any way but just not the same EXCEPT there is a big shift in companies like Hershey's, Reese's, etc, away from using actual chocolate to what we'd call filler ingredients due to the cultivation of cacao beans being threatened by climate change factors (it's real science, people, so don't @ me about this!) and while I have no peer reviewed studies to say that this specific brand of chocolate almond contains less chocolate compared to when I've purchased in the past, the economic timing is… well, it's curious. My 3 star rating comes down to this whereas if I had rated it a year ago I might have even given it 5 stars. That watered down taste really is that noticeable of a difference to me this time and I'm not sure that I'm inclined to purchase it again because of that. (And because it needs to be said nowadays: this was a legitimate human written review, not slopped together by a bot or AI.)

Usually this stuff is great; I've been buying Better Goods/Great Value almond milks for years. However, my most recent bottle had BACON (?!?!?) strips lurking inside of it. YUCK. I was horrified when my unsuspecting mouth was attacked by a clump while drinking my overnight oats. Upon pouring out my Better Goods chocolate almond milk that I had used with the oats, I discovered FOUR (4!!!) more "bacon" clumps poured out. Half of them slipped right fown the drain because of how slimy they are. 🤢 This is making me feel sick to my stomach. The size, shape, and red marbled color is just like bacon. The texture is gooey, chewy like raw fleshy meat. How does this even happen??? Walmart, please contact me.
