WOW !!! Did i hit the jackpot when i purchased this brand of wing dings. I decided to give this brand of chicken wings a try for two reasons. 1. because another popular brand of rotisserie wing dings that i tried, offered mostly burnt pieces in the bag, multiple times.. 2. The dry rub was in an individual packet and not already on the chicken. The wing dings are a decent size, fully/evenly cooked, never any burnt pieces, never any dry pieces, they are flavorful with or without the dry rub. These wing dings are good as appetizers or paired with some veggies to be served as a meal and are ready to serve in less than 30 minutes in the oven. These days, where can you get a plate of wing dings for less than nine dollars ?!
Oh my goodness!! Listen!! Toss these in your favorite hot sauce and sprinkle the lemon pepper package on them, trust me you will not be disappointed! The lemon pepper has a subtle sweet taste to it that makes these wings phenomenal! I really enjoy these!
I bake these for 30 mins at 450! Shaking/flipping several times.... are they deep fried restaurant crispy? nah ... ... but are they dang good? YUP I haven't read ingredients: but the seasoning packet seem to have sweetness to it- so might want to check if that matters. Oh... these drip grease a lot in the oven/airfryer - so prepare for that
I have tried many top name brand frozen wings and these are the best in my opinion. They are crispy when cooked in the air fryer and I can’t stand a soggy wing! I also enjoyed the seasoning as it was a little tangy, not too salty, and just a touch of spicy. I would buy these again.
These wings are not only a great party size. The taste is amazing. The price is affordable, and they come in many favors. I highly recommend these wings.
Who the heck told them to put sugar in lemon pepper dry rub?? It's disgusting. Don't use the seasoning. Tastes better without it. The batter is flaky and crunchy, the only thing that saved them. It tastes like tossing your chicken wings in lemonade kool aid powder mix, with pepper. There is a bit of gooeyness below the crunch. Wasn't sure if it was batter or fat. These are just strange. The crispy batter and plump meat only good part.
Someone told the chef “fat is flavor” and Chef decided to give you FAT ON A STICK. With, at most, a half teaspoon of chicken per piece. They look big and meaty, and smell nice, but it’s absolutely all fat. Wish I had read the reviews before buying. Tried to cut it open and eat the chicken from the enter of each fat glob, but after a few it makes you lose your appetite for wings. Disgusting. Threw away most of these.
It’s Sweet. The lemon pepper has sugar in it. I don’t know who came up with that but this isn’t it. Glad I had some Zaxbys tongue torch sauce on had. Oh I’m glad I didn’t pour all the seasoning over the wings because YUCKKKKK!! Consider if you’re a picky eater. Good quality wings, someone said they got 29 wings but my bag had like 13 wings.
Tried these baked and baked them for over 30 minutes and the flats were okay but the drum was very “fatty” to the point of disgust and allot of them were almost all this fatty meat and no real chicken. The lemon pepper had a sweet taste to it as well. Overall just not satisfying. If it was all flats and they got rid of the sweetness of the seasoning then maybe it could be 4 stars.
For one the pieces are so small you definitely are not getting 4.5 servings. Two I used the oven instructions and the texture of the skin was gross! The air fryer is probably better but for the price I’ll pass. Only positive is the lemon pepper seasoning isn’t super salty
