This Better Goods coffee is a fantastic choice. The aroma is rich and inviting, with earthy and perhaps subtle spice notes. For an on the shelf brand at walmart this is a great substitute if your used to getting higher end whole bean coffee. It grinds easily and smells pretty pre and post brew. Overall taste exceeded what I expected for about am $8 bag of coffee from a large chain. Its not a micro roaster dupe by any means, but it does the trick and does it pretty well.

If you grind your beans by the pot, as I do, these are a good value for deep, rich but not bitter and satisfying cup

I loveee this coffee. The flavor is phenomenal and smells so lovely when I grind it up. It's on a whole other level seriously. I'm 21 and been searching for an all time go to coffee since I've moved out at 18. I've tried black rifle, Starbucks, fire department coffee, cafe bustelo, the typical Folgers and Maxwell, and nothing has came close to this level of deliciousness. this coffee really impressed me it was exactly the boldness and flavor I wanted without tasting bitter or leaving a bad aftertaste. I highly recommend and yall just grind it up in your blender!! Just get it!!!

Great coffee beans. Was very surprised. Never had this bean before. The beans come out of Indonesia. They've been producing coffee for probably 10,000 years. They know what they're doing over they with coffee. I don't think it is widely known or considered. It ain't no Folgers! Tastes great with a coarse grind. But a fine grind is probably best depending on your method of brew.

In general, most coffees brew best in a temperature range of 195-205 degrees. I brewed the bettergoods Sumatra using a metal mesh drip filter with a slightly course (drip) grind and it brewed best at the lower end of the temperature range. I got an enjoyable, tasty cup with good aroma and good mouthfeel. (Other methods may produce different results.) There are some better, more expensive Sumatra coffees out there, but this one does a good cup for the money, so I recommend it!

Honestly I was very surprised at how good this was! I grind my coffee fresh each morning and this was fantastic! Could be just a little be stronger but overall great flavor and good coffee.

I was excited to try this brand coffee for my first time! It smelled good, plus it was coffee beans! The price was awesome. I did add cinnamon, vanilla extract and caramel, it was delicious!

This was a huge disappointment. The one star review that says there's no oil and that these are small, inferior, weak, almost tasteless sums it up. These do not have Sumatra flavor and are a huge disappointment. Even my teenage son thinks so. That's how obvious the flavor difference, weakness, and lack of freshness are. Skip it and spend the few extra bucks to get your favorite brand.

I immediately noticed the coffee beans were small, TINY (inferior, usually rejected beans). Very little flavor, despite using extra grounds. The coffee tasted like I used the grounds for a 2nd time, weak. No oil in the beans, which gives a great flavor.
