I am a fan of stuffing, the Bettergoods Turkey and Stuffing Pot pie delivers a great tasting stuffing flavor. My family enjoyed the taste and size of the pot pie. This is a filling meal. We baked for 50 minutes and everything was thoroughly cooked without any over or under cooked areas.
I really enjoyed this flavor of pot pie! It was hearty and filling. The veggies and turkey were very tender and the crust and stuffing topping were nice and crispy. The filling flavor is very strong of thyme and herbs, but in a pleasant way. I will purchase it again!
I went into trying this product pre convinced it was going to be like the cheap little frozen chicken Pot pies. But I was very surprised to find that it looked, smelled and tasted like it was homemade! This quickly became a quick easy dinner choice for those nights when you just don't feel like cooking. I recommend this product 100%.
I was a little nervous, but after trying it, I was surprised that such product turned to be delicious. You must use foil, I didn't have and used parchment paper instead. The crust burned a little bit around, but the stuffing was moist and tasty. The cranberries added a little bit of tweak. You must try, GUARANTEED!
I loved it it was like Thanksgiving leftovers all in one shot. It would be good for a night meal or a single person that doesn't want to cook a holiday dinner, but still have some leftovers. One of my kids were not a fan of the cranberries, but the rest of us liked it as a whole. It was very filling and good for a family of four we used it for lunch on Thanksgiving. I hope they will make a Christmas dinner type of pie. That would be a nice filling meal that was easy as well
I was excited to this Thanksgiving inspired pie, hoping for a comforting meal, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The idea of combing turkey, stuffing and a flaky crust is appealing, but the execution was lacking. The filling was disappointingly sparse and the vegetables felt like an afterthought. The flavor was bland, lacking the rich reasoning I'd associate with Thanksgiving staples. The crust was overly dense and soggy instead of light and flaky.
My overall opinion of the Turkey and stuffing popeye, I really didn't care for it. There was mostly stuffing and the crust of the popeye. There was barely any Turkey also is said to cook for 50 to 60 minutes and I had to cook it for 80 minutes in order for the whole popeye to be hot.
Thought these pot pies would be a step up & nice change from the Banquet brand. We were highly disappointed. They lacked flavor and did not look appetizing at all! Quite the disappointment, to say the least.
This sounded good, but after cooking it for an hour and it didn't cook evenly. That was no big deal , but then I dug in and there is absolutely no turkey but a bite or two and no vegetables , and it's very dry. The stuffing do not even taste like stuffing. I have no idea how to describe this, but it is not moist. And there is no Turkey or vegetables. It's just a dry bread and after eating about 8 bites.I had to throw the whole thing out , so do not buy this
Some things simply sound good in theory, but in practice don't turn out so well. This pot pie is one of those things. If you look at the picture on the box, it shows this lovely filling with creamy liquid, etc. It turned out thick and dry With no creamy filling at all. it said to cover with aluminum foil and cook for 50 to 60 minutes. I split the difference at 55 minutes. It was definitely hot, but it was totally thick and dry. Just didn't taste good.
