Easy to make and taste great
We buy boxes and boxes of this mix in many different flavors, but the chocolate chip muffin is our favorite. You can make muffins or bread, and I always add my own mini chocolate chips to thicken the batter and create a little more substance.

Worth Trying
I know, they are not homemade, however, if you want to make some warm, chocolatey muffins in no time at all, these are really pretty good. They are quick to make, always come out great, and can be doctored up for all of you purists out there by adding some vanilla and some extra chocolate chips (the Great Value store brand chocolate chips are really good and a lot less than Toll House brand). As a side note, for some reason the small packets of Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix that make only 6 muffins are not good at all - these taste nothing like those, so if you have never tried this bigger box, give them a try as they are really good. It makes 12 regular size muffins, and I use the muffin liners and have never had an issue with sticking.

Sort of pricey for the quality, but I usually buy several packages for variety. Great basic muffin mix for serving fresh or freezing to reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
