We decorate cookies a lot during the Christmas season, we have tried writing and drawing on them with different methods and gadgets but most have been too hard to use or more of a mess than they are worth but not with this writing icing. The little tubes are easy to hold and the icing flows effortlessly and uniformly every time. The colors are bright and vivid and the taste is divine.

They taste like vanilla and the tubes are easy enough for the smallest hands to decorate with. The set comes with 4 colors (red, green, yellow and blue) and you can even use this icing to help hold candies onto cookies (like edible glue!). Very cool product!

The tubes are easy to handle and provide a surprisingly accurate fine line application. The kiddos were able to make some detailed cookie designs. Each set comes with four base colors of blue, green, yellow, and red. The icing itself is a nice warm vanilla flavor that doesn't overwhelm the cookies. It doesn't set up too fast so decorating is easy. Would definitely recommend.

The colors were bright and easy to use -- even the kids had fun with them. It does tend to spread a little after making the design, it didn't stiffen up and dry immediately. But it still looked great. And the icings taste good, too. A great tool for holiday baking or to quickly snazz up the break-and-bake style sugar cookies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure, I am not a cake decorator...lol Bright primary colors, the blue, yellow and green looked more like gel icing. The red resembled traditional icing, which didn't come out of the tube as smooth as the other colors. I liked that I didn't have to cut the tip off of the tubes .
