Betty Crocker Gluten Free Devil's Food Cake Mix, 15 oz.

My son has been gluten free for awhile and I made them for him and he loved it and keep asking are you sure it's gluten free and he wanted to see the box, lol so yes I would recommned it the'll love it

Of all the gluten free box or bag cake mixes, this 1 is by far the best

For people who need gluten-free food, this is a simple cake mix to satisfy the sweet-tooth. The cupcakes come out moist and last a long time, unless you are like me and gobble them up.

In addition to being gluten intolerant, I also have allergies to dairy and egg. Kudos to Betty Crocker for making a gluten-free cake mix that doesn't contain milk or egg itself, and one that I could make ingredient substitutions in successfully: I used one Earth Balance soy-free vegan buttery stick instead of the butter and used 2 TBSP potato starch per egg called for (6 TBSP total). The taste and texture were divine! I have tried egg replacers of various types in other brands of gluten-free cake mixes and they always turn out a gooey mess and inedible. But not this one! Thanks for a great mix that even those of us with additional food allergies can use (and actually ENJOY!).

This was a wonderful cake! Had I not made it myself, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was gluten-free! There's no odd taste and it's got a wonderful 'chew' to it that I wouldn't have though I could get without gluten. It was a bit dense and a little on the dry side, but I'm sure that had more to do with me not having a mixer and me overcooking it just a bit. I made this for my mom's birthday cake since she's on a gluten-free diet and she was so happy to have a great tasting cake. The one downside, it's a little on the pricey side, but it was worth it for the look of shock and joy on my mom's face.

These come out just like regular cupcake mix. Just follow directions.

Some gluten free products come out dry so I use applesauce to replace an egg and it came out so moist.

These mixes are great! Most GF cakes/cupcakes tend to have moisture issue and this mix is not an exception but just like any other mix out there, putting pudding mix fixes all of that and more.

Cost seems high but is not really when you remembered it is a gluten free mix. Flavor is really good -- again, especially for a GF mix. Ordering more. What more can I say?

It worked well for me. It's nice to be able to have a gluten free dessert that tastes like real cake again. Also, with gluten free cake or brownie mixes it's helpful to add an extra egg. They can sometimes be a little dry.
