This package of Betty Crocker Oreo cake mix made exactly 12 cupcakes. the bag is smaller than typical cake mixes. It did come with crushed up oreos to put in and/or the cake. I made them for my daughter's birthday, and everyone said they were really good.

When I ordered this online, I didn't realize it only makes half the amount the usual box mixes make. When I saw the box in person, I immediately noticed it was half the size I was expecting. It was disappointing to only have 12 cupcakes for my Oreo loving daughter's birthday instead of 24. I also got the can of Oreo frosting and only needed half a can because that is the normal amount. It would be nice to offer smaller cans for less since most people will be buying that frosting to go with the Oreo cakes. The cake was good. If you added crumbled Oreos to regular cake mix it'd probably taste the same though. Overall, I wasn't impressed. The most unimpressive part is the price for the size. It's good but I didn't think it was that good to charge double the price.

I was disappointed in this cake mix. The portion that it makes is very small compared to other cake mixes, and is more expensive. I also found the flavor to be very artificial tasting, to the point that I did not eat it. I find it much better to just crush and add your own oreos to white cake mix.

got to make for bday cale for my kids who loves oreos. it costs more than the regular betty crocker mix but it makes a much smaller cake. there is no 13x9 option just the 8x8 or round. it was so small. i thought the frosting with it would be like coookies n cream but its just white and sticky. mom fail.

I can’t speak to the results of this cake because as I was opening the box to make my son’s birthday cake I realized the bag was quite small! Sure enough, the baking instructions tell you to make 12 cupcakes, in other words half of what every other cake mix will make! If I had known that I could have ordered two but that information is not readily apparent! Nowhere on the front of the box does it say how many cupcakes it will make - it’s only in the fine print baking instructions. It might still turn out to be a yummy cake, but who ever makes one 8” layer cake? I’ve been burned a few times before from ordering online and here it is again, the night before his party, needing to find a different solution!

This particular cake make is only 9.3 oz, which is almost half the weight of every other cake mix box. I didnt notice this as I ordered online. Upon opening the contents of the box I had some concerns since I was using a 13×9 pan. Sure enough it came out as a super thin layer. To me thats unacceptable for the price and I would suggest to anyone who is interested make your own oreo version or buy two of these.

But 2 boxes to equal 1 cake! Bought for birthday party and was disappointed seeing it only makes half a cake.

It's delicious yet pricey for the amount of cake. I cooked it in 7.5 x 7.5 pan and was so disappointed to see how thin it came out.

This box mix makes only 1 - 8 inch cake And they charge double the money of other box mix. Just crush up sandwich cookies in your batter to get the same result.
