Its ok,not crazy about the flavor.I like sweet potatoes but this was russet mixed with sweet potatoes, not as good as pure mashed sweet potatoes.I am not sure if they could make that in instant potatoes or not.Its eatable and its food, but I am not crazy about it.
I love making these potatoes parentheses sweet potatoes.) I cannot find them anywhere else except at the Walmart of Macomb, Mississippi. And it's so convenient to make, especially since they changed what you put in it. Going from milk and butter to only needing some water. Awesome.
fast to prepare and thevtadt and texture was good. i prefer a real baked sweet potato but it takes an hour to bake. this was a good sunstitute. I was pleasantly surprised.
We used to be able to find these in the stores but for some reason they no longer carry them and they are always my faves. A great change up from regular mashed potatoes %26 a slightly sweet treat to add to the dinner table. Easy to make and prepares super quick too. Almost dont want to use all that I got. Enjoy.
I did not expect to like these! Because they have regular potatoes in it, too. The only thing we did differently was added 2 tbsp butter to the whole packet. I know that accounts for some of it, but still...it was next level crazy good! Tastes so sweet potato-ish. There were even potato pieces in them, so it tasted homemade.
I dislike the fact that you had to order it to receive it. Ordering includes tax and shipping cost and long waiting time. It would be greatly appreciated if this item was available in Walmart stores as opposed to having to purchase it online. Disappointed that it wasn't easier to purchase.
I have bought this multiple times, but found with the most recent order that the company had changed the product's recipe. Previously, you had to add the butter and milk. As someone who is lactose intolerant, this was preferable. I was able to use lactose free or dairy free milk and dairy free butter. However, the newest version already has the butter and milk added, so all you need to do is add the water. For people who aren't lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy, I suppose this is preferable. For the rest of us, it's a problem. I can still take a lactaid pill if necessary for this product, but it was far preferable to choose the milk and butter that went into it.
very disappointed. I am a huge sweet potato eater. these have an off weird flavor. others here tasted them and not one person would eat them. I thought they sounded good and liked that they were shelf stable. won't buy them again.
The taste and texture were nasty Too much russet Not enough sweet potatoes Weird gluey texture Even cinnamon butter and sugar couldn't save it Easy to make though Sorry, I wanted to love it
I had high hopes for these given the reviews. But, they're vile. The texture was like paste, the flavor was not easily identifiable as sweet potatoes at all. Aside from the sample bites, it went directly into the garbage. Idahoian really, REALLY missed the mark on this one. The 5 star reviews make me wonder if those leaving them have ever actually had sweet potato before. Yuck!
