Betus Digital Travel Alarm Clock with White Backlight -Battery Operated Compact Desk Clock

Oops! I jumped the gun. I did not take the clock out of the box because I did not want to run down the battery before my upcoming vacation. I will not be anywhere near a calendar, and will depend heavily on this little alarm clock to keep me oriented to the day of the week and the time. I was afraid that if I set the clock too soon, when I really needed to depend on the clock, I was afraid that the clock would not work, and I would not be able to replace the battery while on vacation, so I will take the clock out of the box closer to my upcoming vacation and at that time I will set the alarm clock.

Really nice - good sized digits, great backlighting (I got white), nice to have alarm sound options. Timer %26 temperature reading very good options.

It is very easy to set up. you can see the time in the daylight when it is not lit up but you can just touch the clock and the light comes on. It gives u the day, digital time and th temperature in the house. It sits very nice on the deak and takes very little room.

Easy to set up. I thought the color would be white as opposed to silver gray. The item appeared white on line. Is this item available in white?

It's a cute clock and very compact. It has everything that you need on it for an alarm clock or just a regular clock that gives you the date as well. I just wish it would stay lit all the time instead of the light in the background going off and you have to touch it to come back on.

The buttons on the back are too close to the right side. My fingers kept inadvertently pressing on buttons when I wasn't trying to. The clock is very difficult to set up. The paper insert includes about half the instructions necessary for easy setup. For some reason I can't understand, every time you in the process of setting the alarm, the display shows "01" and if you press the up or down buttons it has choices from "01" to "60". None of those have anything to do with the alarm. Then you have to press "set" again to get out of that and the display starts flashing the month number. Again, that has nothing to do with an alarm. You have to press "Set" again to get out of that and then press the up or down button to turn on the actual alarm. The instructions say "discharge" when they mean "to turn off". It is very cumbersome and not intuitive. On the instruction sheet, it says there is a tutorial video on "detail page", then they list their website below that. I went to the website and couldn't find any "detail page" anywhere. I emailed them and they insisted it was there. I emailed them many screenshots of their own pages and they finally wrote back saying, Oh, I meant the "page of the product" whatever that means. There was no ''page of the product". Customer service is seriously lacking. Poorly designed product and poor customer service.

Ugh. I usually don't write and don't like to write negative reviews but...this travel alarm was so difficult to figure out that after an hour I gave up and decided to return it. The buttons are on the back and they are SO TINY that you can barely see them or even feel them with your fingers. And forget about trying to read what it says under the buttons. Get your magnifying glass out! The included "instructions", if you can even call them that, don't even explain clearly how to get it started and set up the time and alarm. You spend an hour randomly pressing buttons to see if you've won the jackpot and figured it out. And you don't! And the most annoying part is that the TINY buttons are on the back so you are constantly flipping the clock back and forth and then trying to remember by memory which button to press because by the time you flip it back, you can't remember by feel. Just a ridiculous clock. Only positive was it's slim profile but it doesn't do you any good if you can't get the clock to work! Good luck if you read this review and still decide to buy it!

junk,cant change the the correct day or set very hard and seems broken hard to see numbers blurry and missing dots on the numbers,no good.
