Fits like it was made for our tent. Seems a lot more durable than the fiberglass one that came with it and broke. Definitely recommend replacing the poles on older tents with this if they are fiberglass..
Sturdiness Adjusting Lightness Camping
quality was good, quick ship, just ordered the wrong size.
I had a pop up canopy that the cover would pocket water and threaten to collapse. Needed to expand the cover outwards to sort of balloon it. These tent poles are easily adjustable by cutting the fiberglass. Collapses down to 12" for storage
There are 12 sections each 13-inches (330mm) long. The metal ferrules connect each fiberglass rod, which takes up about 1-3/8 inch (35mm). when fully assembled the overall length is about 12-feet (3.6m). The O.D. is 5/16-inches (8mm) and I.D. is 5/64-inches (2mm). I was able to bend it 180-degress without issue. The only negatives are the metal ferrules are not glued very securely; you can easily pull them off (good thing?), and the shock cord running down the middle uses a simple knot at the ends, which could pull through.I also think the price ($15) is too much. Overall, I think it is a good quality tent pole.
It does not have much strength to hold a tent fly in place, but is very light weight.
They aren't as thick as portraded. I hoe they will do the job
The item came very dirty, dusty and scratched up. Its all connected into one 12ft pole. Its flimsy.
Description made it sound like a set of tent pools. But really only one pool delivered. Sent a request to vendor no reply.
The first time we used these, they broke. They were the same diameter as the original but were much less durable and flexible. I would definitely not recommend them.
