Beurer BR10 Insect Bite Relief Device with Clip, Natural Mosquito Bite Treatment

Mosquitos love me and this seems to relieve the itch.

I have not used this product yet because I haven't been stung but I like the idea of having a small kit that I can carry with me any where and be ready at a moment's notice. The set up was easy, instructions were clear and concise and it appears that this is a good product!

The device is made for stings or bites and I used it on a mosquito bite I got one day ago. I was shocked by the heat it delivers. I have a high pain tolerance and it definitely felt like a burning sensation. It lasts 3 seconds. After the burn, the itching did subside, which to me makes it worth it.

However now I just use this tool, which lightly “burns” your skin. It hurts for a few seconds but the itch goes away! I think it works by denaturing the insect bite proteins that cause the reaction. The itch usually stays away for a couple hours and if it gets itchy again I just use this tool another time. It helps bites heal faster as well. It's so handy and I'll never be without this again in the summer!

I immediately remembered this little device and applied on my red swollen skin. Instant relief and I also felt the swelling went down. You apply this for a few seconds and it feels a little warm nothing uncomfortable

It soothed it and decreased the redness. The plate doesn't get too hot so there's no fear of burning yourself. Its also portable which makes it perfect for hikes.

It was the first time I've ever heard of a product to heal bites from insects using heat. So far I've only been able to use it once because I've only had one insect bite lately. It happened to be in my arm pit of all places!! So it was a very sensitive spot. I like that the bite healer automatically turns off after 3 seconds from activating it. It definitely gets hot fast so that startled me a bit because it feels like a quick intense burn, but it didn't leave any marks and it helped my insect bite feel relief from the itching and stopped it from getting bigger/ more swollen. I'm excited to try it more when me and my family may experience more insect bites!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the gadget is a nice size that can be easily carried in a small travel bag or first aid kit. It works by applying localized heat to the bite to help relieve symptoms of itching and irritation. I think it's effective to use as needed, but doesn't address the actual mechanism of a bug bite. You would probably have to use it in combo with some kind of itch/allergy cream, but I do think it would be handy to have. This product was given to me as an incentive to write a review.
