Beurer - Portable Shoulder Heating Pad - Gray

I occasionally suffer from shoulder and neck pain after doing strenuous work around the house. I thought this Beuer Shoulder Heating pad would help on those days where the pain is especially bad. The heating pad is covered with a nice soft fleece-like fabric and is easily adjustable for just the right fit around your neck. It is large enough to completely cover both of my shoulders and has an extra flap that reaches up and covers the back of my neck up to my hairline. It is rated at 50 watts and there are 6 heat settings to choose from. I found that it heats up fairly quickly. For me, a setting of about 3 is more than sufficient. When I measured it with a thermometer, it registered a surprisingly toasty 135 degrees. Just to see what the maximum temp would be at its highest setting, I slid the controller to Level 6 and the temperature topped out at about 150 degrees. As a safety feature, the unit automatically shuts off after 2 hours in case you doze off while using it (which is entirely possible!). I really like the fact that the whole thing is machine washable and dryable – all you do is disconnect the power cord and toss it in the wash. An added bonus is that is comes with a limited lifetime warranty. All in all, it’s a nice heating pad.

This Beurer Portable Shoulder Heating Pad is nice and big. It heats quickly buy does not get too hot. I already have a back massager that get heated and i would say this gets that same hot, as a heating pad only i would have like for it to get more heated. It is very soft and fluffy though. Also it says not to lay or press or sleep on it. But i have yo say i feel the heat better when i press back onto it especially for the shoulder area, it does not rest directly around the shoulder without help. I like that it works for the back area too.

So while trying to figure this out for the first time was a pain in the you know what, after figuring it out it is a great heating pad. I sleep funny so usually wake up with super sore shoulders and this has helped tremendously. I would buy this a million times over.

This Beurer shoulder heating pad is an excellent choice for those who have minor aches and pains in their shoulders, knees, and anywhere else on their bodies they to apply healing heat. As with any product that produces heat, such as a heating blanket or heating pad, you'll want to read and understand all instructions and precautions before use. Also, in my opinion, you should keep this device away from small children, and never leave it on during sleep. I could not find a negative thing to say about this wonderful device, but there are plenty of pluses: 1) It has an overheat element and turns off after two hours of use, 2) six temp settings, 3) has a very soft and "breathable" fabric, 4) uses only 50w of electricity, and 5) it comes with a limited lifetime warrenty. We were surprised at how quickly it heats up. You can remove the power unit and wash the pad...it's polyester.

I'm not sure if this is defective or if this is its norm, but this does not get hot. It's barely warmer than just having a regular garment on. The design and fabric are awesome. It's a nice size and very comfortable on the shoulders but there's no discernable heat.

Super comfortable, really quick heat up. Six settings give you a lot of control of the heat intensity. I like the fact that you can machine wash and dry the heating pad, just be sure to make sure it is completely dry before using it. I find the 3 setting to be a good setting for a cozy heat. I have not used the higher settings yet, maybe when the weather gets cooler, I will turn up the setting, but for now the lower settings are great for my bursitis and sore shoulders. The safety 2-hour automatic shut off is a nice feature in case you should nod off while using it.

This was received as a part of a product review program. This is like a soft little caplet that heats up. It has several heat settings. It's designed so it reach the base of your skull and wraps nicely around your neck and throat. Tge whole household loves it so much I'm going to have to get another for myself. So happy with this!

This is wonderful. I have neck, shoulder and back pain and this is a wonderful invention. Conventional flat pads just don't do the job around shoulders. This one does and it fits well and feels so good. I will be using at least once a day and will recommend to friends and family.

This is completely amazing. More than any regular heating pad could do. I love the 6 setting and that it’s not heavy on your shoulders. This is highly recommended.

If you have any shoulder achiness or pain, this is a must have. It works great -- it gives you enough heat to help with the pain and aches without being too hot to use.
