Beurer - Portable Shoulder Heating Pad - Gray

I never in a million years thought a heating pad could change my life. This heating pad has been amazing in every since of the word. It has totally relived my headaches and neck pain. That was something that was unexpected but greatly welcomed. I have usually made a pillow out of my regular heating pad and could never quite get to where this bad boy can reach. Having this thing draped around my neck is one of the best feelings that I have ever felt. It truly is amazing. The fabric is very soft and so comfortable. There are 6 temperature settings and tons of security features like auto shutoff after 2 hours. One of my favorite features is how long it takes to heat up. It is almost an instance occurrence. Overall, this is a great heating pad that is comfortable and heats amazingly. If I were ever to need another one, I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these great heating pads. It has almost completely taken away my migraines and has completely taken away my neck pain and for that I am forever grateful. This is a great product that I highly highly recommend!

This shoulder heating pad is amazing. It has 6 different levels of heat. I can't go past 4 because I start to sweat 3 is much more comfortable. It helped me so much. Sits in all the right places and feels very good. Nice look and choice of fabric color.

This Beurer shoulder heating pad is an excellent choice for those who have minor aches and pains in their shoulders, knees, and anywhere else on their bodies they to apply healing heat. As with any product that produces heat, such as a heating blanket or heating pad, you'll want to read and understand all instructions and precautions before use. Also, in my opinion, you should keep this device away from small children, and never leave it on during sleep. I could not find a negative thing to say about this wonderful device, but there are plenty of pluses: 1) It has an overheat element and turns off after two hours of use, 2) six temp settings, 3) has a very soft and "breathable" fabric, 4) uses only 50w of electricity, and 5) it comes with a limited lifetime warrenty. We were surprised at how quickly it heats up. You can remove the power unit and wash the pad...it's polyester.

I have really enjoyed this Beurer Portable Shoulder Heating Pad. I have arthritis on my left shoulder and neck and this heating pad is a lifesaver. I can snap it together around my neck and watch a movie on my computer, or take a nap and it is held in position. It has 6 different temperatures which give you exactly the heat you want or need.

This is wonderful. I have neck, shoulder and back pain and this is a wonderful invention. Conventional flat pads just don't do the job around shoulders. This one does and it fits well and feels so good. I will be using at least once a day and will recommend to friends and family.

This heating pad can be used as a flat panel, but it is primarily designed to wrap around the neck and drape down the back, with a tab up on the back of the neck. Either way you use or place it, it works well, supplying all the heat you can stand, or just enough to warm you on a cool day. The heat control has seven stetting, from 0 to 6, with 0 being the off position. 1 is the lowest setting with mild heat, then progressively hotter to 6 being the hottest setting. My personal use of this heating pad is to apply heat on an injured shoulder that occurred while working out with weights several years ago and still occasionally plagues me. I just drape the heating pad over my shoulder and hold it close with my opposite hand to get the full benefit of the heat, usually set around 5 or 6 for fifteen to twenty minutes. Work really well to remove any discomfort or pain from the injury. Heat treatment works pretty well for most people, but I would hesitate to use it on burns or abrasions to the skin without a doctor's recommendation. Other than that, this would make a good addition to one's first aid kit.

I occasionally suffer from shoulder and neck pain after doing strenuous work around the house. I thought this Beuer Shoulder Heating pad would help on those days where the pain is especially bad. The heating pad is covered with a nice soft fleece-like fabric and is easily adjustable for just the right fit around your neck. It is large enough to completely cover both of my shoulders and has an extra flap that reaches up and covers the back of my neck up to my hairline. It is rated at 50 watts and there are 6 heat settings to choose from. I found that it heats up fairly quickly. For me, a setting of about 3 is more than sufficient. When I measured it with a thermometer, it registered a surprisingly toasty 135 degrees. Just to see what the maximum temp would be at its highest setting, I slid the controller to Level 6 and the temperature topped out at about 150 degrees. As a safety feature, the unit automatically shuts off after 2 hours in case you doze off while using it (which is entirely possible!). I really like the fact that the whole thing is machine washable and dryable – all you do is disconnect the power cord and toss it in the wash. An added bonus is that is comes with a limited lifetime warranty. All in all, it’s a nice heating pad.

I really like this shoulder heating pad as I have some issues with both my shoulders aching from time to time and this pad is large enough to warm both shoulders and the muscles around them, at the same time. The opening in the soft fabric pad is adjustable in size, so the pad can used by all the members of the family, which is really nice. The control has 6 temperature settings, although I usually set it in the middle of the range, which is warm enough to gently warm the shoulders and back muscles and quickly relief any pains I am having. While there are clasps to keep it from sliding down off your shoulder area, I would say the only short coming of the pad is that there is nothing to keep it snug against your skin, but I simply sit in a chair and lean back to keep it against my shoulder muscles.

So while trying to figure this out for the first time was a pain in the you know what, after figuring it out it is a great heating pad. I sleep funny so usually wake up with super sore shoulders and this has helped tremendously. I would buy this a million times over.

Material – one side is a soft fluffy fleece like a favorite blanket the other side is fleece but not a fluffy. Color – soft grey like a blue grey The edges feel weighted. There is a roundness surrounding the edges and helps keep the heating pad in place. It's a comfortable feeling, for sure. Plug in cord is white. There are six levels for heat and the settings slide has raised dots to help identify the level the slide is on. Fit – fits well on the shoulders, the back of the neck is raised and lays up to the hairline area. There are soft snaps to connect the sides to fit closed where the wearer wants it. Works well laying across the shoulder over the back and front if the user prefers warmth in the collarbone area. Also fits easily over the leg and knee area. Was quick to warm up – in under three minutes was at full level six capacity. Has a two-hour shut off feature. However….. the heat level did not measure at all to our heating pad we've had for years. The level six we thought would be hot – it is not. It is warm. I prefer a hot that you can feel in my muscles and joints, this I had to push into my skin to feel the warmth. The weighted edge did help keep in the warmth that was eventually ebbing – in about 10 minutes, but it was just warm not heat (on level 6) This would be a great gift for a person who just needs a little warm blanket around the shoulders, but not for heat heat.
