Healthcare essential!

Sarikas82 September 26, 2022

I really love electrical heating pads and was so impressed with the manufacture of this product. This is an essential product to have for cramps during menses, I typically have one in every room of the house. What puts this electrical heating pad Above all others is that it heats up very fast, and I love the soft material that was used as it is very comfortable. I would recommend this product to others!

Perfect size

Deedee September 23, 2022

They call this size small but it is just what I want. It fits perfectly on my sore back. Or I can drape it over my aching shoulder or even around my knee. It folds easily. The highest setting does not get so hot that I feel as if it's burning but I usually use it around setting 4. It goes up to 6. I can fit it right by my bedside as it will stand vertically without taking up much room. It is nice and soft, softer than the one I have been using. It's quite nice. It is supposed to be machine washable but I will probably wash it by hand if I need to. I don't get my heating pads all that dirty. I've never had it do an auto shutoff as I don't use it on that hot a setting. I would recommend this to any of my friends and probably will.

Great heating pad

DoRDoR September 24, 2022

I have neck and shoulder pain year-round. Additionally, I occasionally get lower abdominal cramps when Aunt Flo visits. So, I got the Beurer heating pad. The name gives it away that it is made in Germany. It is a very good quality heating pad in that it has six heat settings, automatically turns off after two hours of use, designed not to overheat, is washable, and is uber soft and flexible. The fabric is made of microfiber and the heating wire weaved through the pad is thin and flexible so that the pad can conform to bending and wrapping. This is especially useful when I throw it over my shoulder or wrap it around my neck. The power cord plugs into the pad easily with a gentle push. Once the pad is turned on, it is a matter of a few minutes, and the pad warms up fast. The power cord which has the controller attached to it is about nine feet long. There a 6x6 inch label attached to the power cord with warnings. I found the size of the label ridiculously large dangling from the cord. Nonetheless, one of the best features is that the pad is completely washable and can be tumble dried on medium. These instructions are printed on the back of the pad for convenience. I have used it on my shoulder, and it has worked well. I have had other heating pads before, but it was not as soft as this pad. My old pad had a casing that pilled up and was quite rough.

BEURER HEATING PAD, MODEL UHP 24

theresa September 19, 2022

this review is for the BEURER UHP 24 SMALL HEATING PAD. The dimension of this pad is 15 1/2" inches x 12 1/2" inches with approximately 1/4"inch thickness. both sides of this small soft pad are tightly tufted with the entire outer edges sewn, which encapsulates all electrical parts. the only exposed area on this pad is the round connector to plug the cord into. speaking of the cord, from the pad to the 6-setting temperature controller is 30" inches. then from that point the cord extends 6' feet (72" inches). the cord easily slides into the protruding round plastic connector on the front side of the pad. this BEURER HEATING PAD is easily flexible and can be wrapped around an arm, leg or foot or just laid across a shoulder or neck. it is not meant to be sat on or placed between blankets. the amount of heat output it emanates is NOT of a great amount. this is perfect for children and teens because they wouldn't get burned by the highest setting. its good for adults as well, but for me personally, i prefer to make a heating pad so hot that it turns the skin red, but then that is just some people's preference. this pad is a perfect addition to anyone's medical supply cabinet. the instruction manual states that it can be washed in a washing machine but then also says it should just be wiped clean using a damp cloth. it is not waterproof while it is turned on of course.

Very comfortable!

Nancy B April 18, 2022

My new Beurer heating pad is a great replacement for an old pad with a cover that would not stay in place. It also offers six settings instead of three, which is very useful for my low back pain. It is well designed and especially soft to the touch. Excellent product.

Good quality heating pad. I recommend it.

Oh yeah

goulgirl November 30, 2022

This hits my body in all the right spots. When I turn it on, the heat does start immediately, but you have to restart it after so many minutes or hours. Which I understand the switch off method. Definitely good to have when those cramps come through.

It fine as long as you can press it down.

CAD September 27, 2022

I like the fact that this has a 2 hour auto-shut off and overheat protection. I have left heating pads on overnight. The down side is that it does not get real hot. (that could actually be a good thing) The directions say not to put it between your body and a chair or other object. But to get any heat, I needed to put it between my shoulders and the chair, and lean against it. The pad is very light and does not conform to the shape that it is sitting on. So it needs to be pressed down. If you don't mind ignoring the advice, and you put it between yourself and the chair, it works fine.

Amazing!

lindalelady October 2, 2022

This Beurer heating pad is so soft. It gets warm quickly and feels so good. The softness and warmth is enough to make anyone feel better. I only wish I had a larger version of it and that it would stay on longer than two hours without automatically turning off!

Barely gets lukewarm

bxbx September 25, 2022

My knees get cold and then hurt or get stiff. I always kept a small throw over them when sitting down but we had some very cold days and I've kept the heat down this last winter and into spring. Then we had a monster hot summer and air-conditioning did not help my knees either. In the past, I have used heating pads but they just do not make them as good as they used to. I have a very old one I don't dare use because of the frayed cord, but that one gets hot, all the new ones do not. I seen this pad and it's made in Germany so I thought it might be better but it's the same thing. Good points: - Long cord - Not too big and not too small - Machine washable - Very soft - Nice hand-held controller Bad point: - It barely gets lukewarm, my PC on my lap gets much hotter and if I could wrap that around my knees I would - The instructions say not to fold it sharply but it was folded in the box, maybe that's the problem Summary: If you want something that you can barely feel, then this is your pad. I plugged it into various outlets and straight into the wall but it only got lukewarm and set it right away to high as per instruction, but this is useless for me.
