BEVEL SAFETY RAZOR

The BEVEL razor performs better than my Merkur razor. I am happy with it. The only issue I had is that I didn't receive it in the original box. If you are buying it as a gift for someone, this might be a problem... The seller sent some BEVEL blades as compensation but I am using Derby Premium blades and don't need them.

I've suffered pretty badly from razor bumps for the past few years, and I've tried dozens of multi blade and double edged razors before. I may not understand the science behind it, but switching over to the Bevel DE razor has done wonders for my skin

My only complaint about the Bevel razor is that it's a little tough to do detailing due to the width of the safety razor head in proportion to the blade. But other than that, this is the best razor I've ever owned. Shaving has gone from literally a pain, to a pleasure. My skin has never looked better. Virtually no razor bumps. Highly recommend! If you have sensitive skin or are prone to ingrowns, this is a must own. More blades are not the answer- one quality blade is all you need!

Good balance and feel, felt pretty intuitive by the second shave. Cleans easily. My only complaint is that the smooth handle gets slippery while shaving. I shave my head, so that requires holding the razor at more angles for longer than for just shaving the face and neck area, which leads to more shaving cream getting on the handle, making it really slick. I plan on adding knurling to the handle the next time I'm at the machine shop to reduce my chances of dropping it. Since not everyone has access to a metal lathe, that's my one suggestion for improvement.

This was only my first time shaving with the Bevel and only the third time I used a safety razor after changing from from 40 years of cartridge shaving. I did get a noticeable cut in the mustache area and a small chin nick, which I attributed to rookie mistakes: insufficient lather on my shave brush, not re-lubricating and going over the chin and mustache to excess. The second shave should be better and the great Bevel shaving stand can hold two razors if you also use the brush holder (minus the brush). I hope the photos attach as I own two Bevels which I call "The Bevel Twins."

Testing this razor kit for a review was interesting! I have never used a razor like this before, usually I use the standard 4 or 5 bladed razors, or sometimes an electric. It does take a couple of times to get used to using a single blade razor like this

I have been searching for ages for a razor which would give me a close and comfortable shave. No matter in which direction I tried to shave, the beard hairs would just not come off my face. I finally had to resort to going back to my old Gillette mud shave to accomplish my task. I do not believe that your website represented your product accurately.
