These vintage style LED bulbs are smaller than the standard bulb and are great for the smaller lamps on my bedside tables. The 40W equivalent is only uses 450 lumens - great savings! i wanted a bulb with a subtle glow, and a vintage look for my bedroom in my old farmhouse. these fit the bill perfect. they only use approximately 4.5 watts, as opposed to 40 watts with a regular incandescent bulb. the expected life span is 13 years with normal use. plus, better homes and gardens is a well trusted brand.

I GOT ONE BOX OF 2 40 WATT LED VINTAGE STYLE LIGHT BLUBS AND WAS SURPRISED HOW BRIGHT THEY ARE. MY BATHROOM IS KIND OF DARK AND I HAD OTHER LED LIGHT BULBS IN MY LIGHT FIXTURE BUT IT DIDNT SEEM TO BE BRIGHT ENOUGH SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THESE. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH BRIGHTER THEY WERE. THE OTHER ONES MADE MY WHITE COVERS LOOK YELLOW BUT THESE BRING OUT THE TRUE COLOR OF THEM WHICH IS WHITE. WHICH YOU WILL SEE IN THE PICTURE AM PUTTING WITH THIS. AND THEY LAST LONGER THEN THE ONES I HAD AND MORE WATTAGE LIFE TOO. IF YOU WANT TO BRIGTEN UP A DARK AREA YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THESE BULBS. I PLAN ON GETTING MORE.

For such a small little light, this thing packs power. I chose a day-light bulb because one of my rooms gets a little bit darker in the late afternoon. I use it for an office, and I need it to be much brighter than it is. Most of the smaller lights are not very bright. I took a chance on this one. I was very surprised and very happy how bright it was. It was not over-bright, like some of the other day-light bulbs, but it was bright enough to illuminate my office so that I could continue working. I'm very pleased with the product. , I do have a lampshade on it but it would be pretty cool if it was a light that you didn't use a lampshade because you can see all of the inner workings. However, don't do what I did and stare at the inner workings because then you can't see anything else for a while.

This LED light bulb is small in size. Don't let the size put you off it puts out as much light as the larger bulbs. I put this bulb in a lamp that we use as night light and it was the right amount of light to see to get around in a large room in the dark.

Looked good. Didn't fit the vibe we were going for, but they are good quality light bulbs.

I enjoy the vintage look of these bulbs. They work just as advertised. I can dim these as well. But once I hit the lowest dim frequency I can the light will flicker. If I keep the room above 10% dim that doesn't happen. Is a common issue with bulbs however the GE I had prior would flicker no matter what if I am to dim it at all. And they are dimmer bulbs advertised just like these. I give these a 4.3 out of 5.

Wow, I can't believe these led light bulbs only consume 4.5W each and giving out 40Watt of actual light, these bulbs uses a standard light socket but the bulb is much smaller, also they are dimmable which comes in handy, when these bulbs are on they give out a white color as you can tell in the pictures I took and based on the Energy Star rating they will last 13 years and cost .53 cent per year

This bulb is made to look like the Vintage Edison Bulb, but in reality its nothing more than a 40 watt LED with FAKE Edison dress up inside. The bulb works fine, but once you turn it on, it looks like any other LED bulb. Disappointed as I thought by the name, "Vintage" that it would be the cool orange glow of a Edison bulb
